Bad and safety hazard!
Bought on sale for $2.99 at Target - used for a week and internal battery died, so wouldn't hold the time if the power went off. Reset after a power outage and the next week it stopped working. Checked and internal watch style battery exploded! Be careful, may be a fire hazard!

Trash Timer
Programming resets after a few days, thought it was defective but reading other comments, this is trash. No longer have the packaging to return. Only works if you are around to reset it (even tried to set same timers on multiple programs and it still reset after about a week). Don’t waste your money

Unreliable
I bought two of these for while on vacation. I set them up a week ahead and they worked for three days then seemingly forgot the program. I set them up a second time and again they worked for a few days and then forgot the program, while I was out of town. Since they can't do the job they are designed for, they are basically trash.

Set it up then it no longer turned on after a week. Ok maybe I have to set it up for however many weeks I want. Nope. Reset after a week. I am infuriated I spent $10 on this when the traditional timers are $5-7 in other places.

this has a backup battery, but there appears to be a problem with the memory. I have had this problem twice, it does a fine job for about a week, then it resets itself back to basic pre program state, you have to start over, the first time I thought it was a fluke, but it happened again - will not waste any more time with this timer, into the junk pile.
