What It Is: The first step in your cleansing routine, this cleansing balm melts away makeup (yes, even waterproof formulas) and washes away impurities without stripping skin. It preps skin for your second cleanse without leaving your skin feeling tight and dry.

What It Solves: Easily remove makeup and impurities while replenishing skin with nourishing hydration. Ingredients like Vitamin E, jojoba oil, and clove leaf oil help calm and hydrate the skin while you cleanse.

How to use: Massage a dime-size amount onto dry skin, then emulsify with water and continue to massage until balm turns milky. Rinse with warm water and gently pat dry. Use AM and/or PM on the entire face (it's safe for eye makeup removal).

    Burns

    Works but makes your eye burn! So glad i bought the travel size first because no way I could use this daily. It does take makeup off but if you wear waterproof mascara you really have to rub it in and it’s not worth the burn.

    made my eyes sting

    I bought this years ago (back when it was pink) and still think about how bad it was. It took off makeup fine, but the eucalyptus oil in it made my eyes burn and sting like crazy whenever I used it. This was a problem because I would wear mascara and would really have to rub in the cleansing balm to remove it. Absolutely horrible, I don't understand how anyone can recommend this, or how none of the comments have mentioned it

    Never again!

    I have acne-prone skin and wear makeup almost every day, so I wanted something that would fully remove my makeup without irritating my skin. After reading reviews saying the Versed Cleansing Balm worked well for acne-prone skin, I decided to try it. Huge mistake for me. Within a week, my skin completely freaked out. My texture got noticeably worse, and I started getting clusters of tiny whiteheads all over my face, sometimes 2–3 in the same spot. I also developed small cystic-like breakouts that weren’t super painful, but were definitely deeper and more inflamed than my usual acne. My skin has honestly never reacted this badly to a product before. Sadly, this cleansing balm did not work for my skin at all.

    THE BEST EVER

    I have been using this product for at least 3 years now. I like waterproof mascara so this stuff is a MUST, even on days I wear no makeup I like the way my face feels soooo clean from the daily dirt and just feels very refreshing. Also a plus for smelling good and working some magic on waterproof and lip stains also!

    Great cleanser

    I have been looking for this cleanser all my life. I am 80 years old and this is the best cleanser I have ever used. I just wish I had found it 60 years ago. ( I know it didn't exist!!) It cleanses so well without the mess associated with all that water. After using, my face does not feel tight, but refreshed. Glad I discovered the Versed product line. Thank you.

    Got this in an IPSY bag and I am never going back to ANYYY other makeup removing product. EVER. I am not a review girl. and actually I am lazy and dont care about consumerism all that much. BUT Y'ALL, GET ON THIS! Getting this in an ipsy bag was like getting a bday card with a hundred dollar bill in it.     New formula (green container) not it!

    The pink container formula was fantastic. The new green container formula is awful. It leaves an awful greasy film on your face & is hard to get off even with a double cleanse. Why mess with a good product that worked??

    Makeup remover??!!

    I received this balm as part of a Christmas goody basket and was excited to try it. I have been using it for about a week and though it worked well it made my eyes feel so irritated, red and uncomfortable. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with my eyes. Obviously you're not supposed to get any product in your eyes (duh) but I figured a cleansing balm that claims to remove waterproof makeup you could use on your mascara. No where does it say not to use on eye makeup. Most cleansing balms are fine and take off makeup gently without irritating your eyes. I finally looked at the ingredients since it's the only thing that has changed in my routine and it contains both eucalyptus oil and clove oil! Who in their right minds would use this anywhere near their eyes? So disappointed threw it in the garbage!

    I wanted to like it but it leaves a kind of film that my mild cleanser doesn't remove well. I have to use a stronger cleanser to wash this off. It also doesn't help remove the eye makeup well. The scent is not as subtle but it's nice. At first I thought the eucalyptus scent might irritate my eyes because the smell is pretty noticeable, but it didn't. Overall, I wouldn't buy it again.

    Totally not for me.

    Not particularly acne prone after adolescence and this IMMEDIATELY made me breakout all around my eye area. Would never use again. Going back to cerave, farmacy or Clinique- none of which have ever made me breakout. It did take off my eye makeup well but YIKES. Gave it a break and let my skin clear up the tried it again the following week and did the same thing
