Vornado EV3 Whole Room Evaporative Humidifier Electronic Humidistat Top Fill Tank Easy Clean

We have used two of these for our house this past winter 2024-25. This is the best evaporate humidifier we've ever had. Love the double filters which last longer so less changing over the winter. Easy to clean and definitely a great feature of being able to fill the tank at the top. No water leaking either which is a big problem with your EVDC 300 humidifier that we owned prior to purchasing the EV3. Noise level seems quiet also. I don't see how you can go wrong with purchasing the EV3 evaporate humidifier...except maybe the color. I wish it came in white. Thanks again from a great product !!

Loved the concept of the top fill. Was excite about it since you discontinued the black older model (MY FAVORITE THAT WORKS GREAT AND I AM STILL USING). THIS NEW ONE SOUNDED LIKE A FREIGHT TRAIN. Bring back the older black model PLEASE!!!

I bought this product a few weeks ago and it is not working as expected. 1. The humidity setting does not work. It does not automatically turn on when the humidity goes low. I have to keep it at on (CO) at all times. 2. The fan is really loud. It sounds like it is going to break at any moment. Should I be concerned about breaking and causing a fire? 3. The flap to add water comes off. It is of pour design. Yes I can put it back on easily but I should not have to deal with this.

Hoping one of the other models has a functional hygrometer control loop. Changing the desired humidity on this model has very little effect on function and, if it does have a hygrometer, it must be wildly inaccurate.

1) Humidity monitor is inaccurate, turns off even tho the humidity is lower than set, had to put on Continuous run but then 2) it does not humidify at all. Not effective !!

I do like this E3 humidifier (decent looking, easy to fill, right amount of humidity based on your settings), but my reason for deducting 2 stars is that it has no automatic shut off when water gets low. Every humidifier I’ve ever owned has had this feature. Some might say, well you shouldn’t have ordered this. I would say that I just “assumed” it had that safety feature! Any potential buyer of ANY humidifier, use distilled water to you’ll have white dust all over everything!

We recently moved to an apartment in a retirement community. The heat/air is forced air. Very dry air. This evaporator is amazing. Just what we needed. I love that I can add water directly to the unit! Perfect!

At the same time it’s very efficient and can quickly humidify a large room. There’re multiple motor speeds, I mostly use the lowest one which is truly quiet. The water tank is made of clear plastic so it’s easy to see the water level - very handy!

It's easy to place and not have to worry about it being in the way or sticking out like a sore thumb in your room. The fan on this humidifier is really strong! Perfect for when you just want your air to be at that certain humidity level but you don't want to have to wait forever. You can select which speed setting you prefer, though. The slowest setting is so quiet, I couldn't even hear it running! The touch screen display is easy to set and the instructions are clear and simple to follow. I also love that the water tank on the back is clear, allowing you to see where your water level is at with a quick glance. I have honestly been impressed with this machine. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a humidifier!

Not that we really need more humidity living in the heat state of Texas, but.....I set this bad boy up in the office to try it out, and it works wonders. If you are in need of a humidifier, I definitely recommend you check out the Vornado brand. I do have allergy issues, and this seems to help as the only time I go into sneezing fits, I am at the office (I secretly think I am allergic to work, lol). So if you experience allergy issues, aore throats, dry skin, etc, try a humidifier!!

This one is perfect, I could definitely tell the difference in air quality in my bedroom. It last the entire day without needing a refill. I don’t hear any noise at all coming from the machine. And the design goes well with all home decor in my opinion.

I have noted that I do not cough as much as I do before. The noise level is acceptable compared to other humidifier. I just wish it will come out with white color so I can match it with my furnitures!

I appreciate how it doesn’t make a lot of noise, which is great for a peaceful ☺️ home . It seems to cover a large area effectively, keeping the air in my home living room area comfortably moist. The controls are user-friendly, This humidifier is powerful and works for big rooms, it's compact in size and has 10 fan settings which are used depending on room size. It has easy access to refill the water tank, change wicks and clean the unit.Overall, it’s been a solid addition to my home for managing indoor humidity love it

It has different humidity settings and fan settings, which can turn off and on automatically according to the humidity in the room. This makes it energy efficient.
