Vornado Lucerna 2 Humidifier: Portable Cool Mist, Ultrasonic, Quiet, Adjustable, 200-500 sq. ft., No Filter, Nightlight

I have had this humidifier for two winters now. It looks nice and works well. The problem is it is literally impossible to clean. The water tank does not come apart. I stuck a qtip in the base of the tank and a bunch of orange slime came out when I rubbed it inside. I have tried vinegar solutions, a good multipurpose soap and lots of soak time and I can still see that orange slime all around the inside of the water tank. I will say I got sick around the time I started noticing the mold so that could be coincidental, or not.

Bought this awhile ago, it works well and has a cool design. However, the power button is not as sensitive as it should be. With the illumination and humidification buttons, even the slightest touch will trigger them. But when I try to turn it on, I have to try for a couple of minutes to press on the button with just the right sensitivity.

Right out of the box, I loved the look! Followed the directions on how to fill in a small amount first to check for leaks and all was well. Filled to the fill line and within 10 minutes I had a small puddle forming on the table around the unit. Emptied and returned to the store. Sad to see it go so quickly! Very pretty to look at but leaks straight out of the box was a disappointment.

This was gifted to me for my honest review, and I will update if anything changes, but so far I love this! Easy to set-up and use, aesthetic appeal, nature inspired, frankly piece of art in a humidifier! I love it, go buy one!!!!!!

I bought this humidifier with the hopes that its beauty & functionality would be fantastic. I was overjoyed by the power of the humidifier - when it worked. The control panel is a smooth surface so there’s no physical push in. I’ve had it for 3 days, and for 3 days, I’ve had to sit there & push the button to power on repeatedly for 5 minutes before it would turn on. Once it’s on, it’s great. But I don’t want to have to sit here & repeatedly push it to even get it to turn on. I’ll be returning it tomorrow from the store I purchased from.

This humidifier works like a champ and makes it easier for everyone to breathe.The humidifier is bulky to carry around the house, and filling it to half lasts around 8-9 hours.The design is gorgeous and this can double up a home decor item, a night light.The only flaw is that the base comes off rather easily and can be dangerous around toddlers/preschoolers.We have keep it away and at place where our preschooler can reach it.Other than this I would highly recommend it over the ugly humidifiers in the market .

It works as a humidifier with two settings while also being a night light with three levels of brightness, and can be used without one or the feature. Bonus: if you like sleep sounds, it’s also a gentle rain noise machine! I love how chic and simple this humidifier is and can’t wait to continue using it, especially in the winter months.

Once receiving it, he filled it up (it’s that easy!) and started it in his room. No more nose bleeds. Room air quality is much better, and he sleeps better at night! It lighting up is just a bonus!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this a few weeks ago and first off, it works beautifully, I filled it with about half way up and it lasted all of 9 hours. There are 3 settings for the light feature and 3 settings (off, low, high) for the humidification It keeps the rooms air fresh and manageable. The only downfall in my opinion is the screwy at the bottom of the base. When I lift it up and or place it back in it’s place, the movement must be done quickly or water will come out. You don’t have to slam anything into place it has a small guide to get the screwy in its proper planning positions. The water release spring in the screwy seems to be very delicate so just be mindful of how you place the water base on its mount.

This one I wouldn’t be embarrassed to keep on my bedside table. It seems to function well and hopefully won’t be too difficult to keep clean.

I really like the lighting feature on this and it's definitely a unique looking humidifier. Because it's so tall it does make filling it a bit more difficult. You can't just go to your sink (unless it's deep). Also the buttons are smooth, they don't go in or anything like that and sometimes I had to tap them a few times to get it to work. That being said I like that there are two settings for the humidifier and that you can use the light feature without the humidifier. The nights I used it, I did wake up feeling like my throat/nose wasn't as dry. I'm looking forward to getting even more use when the weather gets colder.

After having a slight cold my nose and throat felt so dry so I decided to plug in my Lucerna 2 Ultrasonic Humidifier by Vornado Alchemy. My throat felt so much better which kept me from coughing so much. The air in my room just felt more pure and clean. Using the humidifier was so easy. I just had to fill the tank with water and put it back on the base. It is so sleek and I love the look of it when it is illuminating the room. I was so confused at first when trying to turn it on because it doesn't have actual buttons to push that you can see. There are words placed across the bottom front for Illumination, Power and Humidification. You just touch the word Power and it comes right on. The illumination is already at 100% and the Humidification is set for low. Both are adjustable and whatever you choose to set it at will be saved for when you use it again. I also love the fact that when the water level gets too low it has an automatic power off. Great product that will definitely get a lot of use.

The buttons aren’t exactly buttons, more just a tap situation which at times didn’t work perfectly but that also could be user error. I can’t wait to use this in the winter when my apartment is much drier!

All humidifiers basically do the same thing, and there is nothing too innovative about the way this one works. However, this blends into a home perfectly without you knowing it is a humidifier. The technology behind it is very cool. It has a touch screen where you can turn the device on, change the brightness of the light, and start humidification. This way, even when you are not actively using the product, it doubles as mood lighting and looks great. It is easy to use as well. There is minimal set up involved and comes with a booklet about the product. The only reason I scored this product 4 stars is because the top comes off a little to easily. I wish that it locked in place with a twist. Other than that I love this product and will continue to use it! Easy to use and it puts out a strong steady mist that lasts a really long time. Lasted almost a full day. The light part isnt a bright and vibrant as i imagined it would be but it preforms well and the design is aesthetically pleasing. I do like that it isnt just another plan, boring humidifier.
