The dependable VTech DM111 digital audio baby monitor is a must-have for any nursery. With a range of up to 1,000 feet and high-quality sound, you can rest assured you'll hear your little one's every call. Plus, totally digital transmission cuts down on annoying static and feedback from other wireless devices, so the only noises you'll hear are your baby's. It's a great way to keep your little one safe and sound.
I had a wifi based monitor that stopped working, so I decided to turn to just a radio frequency audio unit. My wifi monitor had reception issues in the house, with baby's bedroom being on the first floor and my bedroom on the second floor, opposite side of the house. I was absolutely thrilled that this $18 (!!!) monitor not only worked in my house in this condition, but works with great quality. It's all you need and I highly recommend it if you have a similar issue within your home.
I love this, it works great for me. I have read a couple posts that said the sound was bad and it always tells you how to use it, however my sound is good and I always have mine plugged into the power cord unless I go outside, it does not tell me how to use it then. Batteries seem to last a good month for me.
Our fancy monitor keeps going out during the night so we purchased this one as a backup to help mama sleep. It has been great! Easy to use and hasn’t had any of the sound issues other people have reported. For the money, I think it’s a great purchase.
We are on our last kid but the video monitor we’ve used through them all finally gave out and little man is far away from our room. I had to have something but did not want to fork out much for a monitor that we will only use for maybe 6 more months. This has been GREAT! We’ve only had it for about a month and that’s the only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars. I don’t know how long it will last but for now it’s just what we need and can’t beat the price!
We have this exact model and we needed a second one. So I went with what I knew and got another one. Bad choice. They’re not made like they were. I could barely hear our toddler in the middle of the night, and the monitor was at the foot of her bed. It sounded like she was down the street crying. Did not like that at all. Our other one picks up everything, which I prefer. So we returned it. I ended up with the owl one from Vtech (sold at other retailers), and I love it. Bummer on this one though.
