Whirlpool WML55011HS 1.1 Cu. Ft. Stainless Over-the-Range Microwave Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only had this a month but we love it. Installation went smooth with the included template and the fit and finish of the microwave is well done. We like that the keypad is hidden by the door and the exhaust fan and light work great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yes, it fits nicely under my cupboards making it easier to reach all of my stovetop burners but I was disappointed to find out after installation there was no "settings" button. Really? None of the audibles are adjustable or changeable. Example: even the timer is not audible in the next room or even in a busy kitchen area. What kind of person designed this unit? No one in our home is hard of hearing but the timer is useless because we can't hear it???? Also related is that going to the Whirlpool web sight with the model and serial number, the directions for operation seem to strongly indicate there are setting for several functions that just don't exist.

The smaller size doesn’t limit its ability to complete expected tasks. The behind door key pad was a major point in picking this microwave.

I love the low profile, sleekness and look, but it has to work. Fixing it would have cohost me the same as buying a new one… hope this one lasts longer.

Also, the start button would be better situated on the bottom and the door open on top. Did your human factors engineers way in on this design?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you need a non standard size, This definitely fits the bill. It’s not very high but normal width and this was the best I could find. Takes some getting used to to the way to use the microwave but really isn’t a problem, I would recommend.
