I bought this based off other reviews, but returned it. Wouldn't buy this if you have children or pets. The buttons are on the top and sensitive. Barely slide your finger over and it changes it. So, you can imagine paws. Then the front cover is barely held on by magnets at the top. So, they easily knocked that off multiple times. Couldn't leave it on unless I was in the room. When it was running, it was very quiet. But a couple weeks later, didn't notice any improvement in air quality. Filters still looked clean. Spraying a room freshner, cooking, etc. didn't set off the auto feature either. It just stayed blue like it was all fine. The only positive was, it did run quiet on low...

Hello, thank you for your feedback. Winix has launched some products with a child lock feature to assist with these issues. The unit is equipped with sensors that should pick up those odors and automatically adjust the fan speeds if in the auto mode. Additionally, we also have units in which the filter replacement is in the bottom, therefore making it a little more difficult for the furry ones and the young ones!

I've owned this AM90 model for a couple of years. Overall I am pleased with its clean air performance. My only gripe is that it is really annoying trying to connect to wi-fi. I've tried several times and it just won't connect.

We recently purchased our second winx air handler did not realize the am90 had no timer to automatically turn off and system had not been upgraded to our android we have, so I have to say we were disappointed and will be more careful on our next purchase.

I’m not a fan of the space on the cover but it cleans the air very well. The air quality indicators is a pretty neat feature as well. People have to make sure that they clean the filter and don’t let the unit run on a dirty filter for long and it last you awhile

The unit is very quiet. It does run all the time, so I am not sure yet how much it will increase the electric bill. It is immediately on when the air conditions of the room change: burned toast or sprayed cleaning products or cooking products

I did a ton of research online and on YouTube on air purifiers and I decided to purchase this AM90 air Purifier about a month ago and placed it in my bedroom. The room is less than 400 square feet. I installed the app on my phone. The sleep mode is very quiet, I can hardly hear it. I run it 24 hours a day. It has a true HEPA filter. it is very sensitive to air quality. When it detects bad air quality in the air the light turns red or amber color. In a very short amount of time (about less than an hour depending on how bad the air is) it turns to blue color meaning the air is clean. A very smart and high-tech machine. It is very light, I move it to another room when I want to. I am very happy with my purchase. I plan on getting the T810 during the black Friday sale and placing it in my large living room. The customer support on their Winix.com website that I came to with lots of questions before purchasing was excellent. That did effect my purchasing decision.
