A: Thank you for contacting ZeroWater. Water from a new ZeroWater filter is a neutral 7, in most cases. As the filter nears exhaustion the pH reading will become slightly acidic.

A: We recommend that the pitcher and components be hand washed with hot water and dried thoroughly with a paper towel. The high temperature of a dishwasher drying cycle can warp the plastic and the soap can leave a residue, making it difficult to obtain a 000 reading on the TDS meter.

The company has changed the way the filters are made and the new ones do not have grooves that easily align with the grooves on the pitchers. Zero Water used to be superior to Brita. Until/unless the company starts ensuring that grooves on the filters and the pitchers actually easily and accurately align, the prodcut is a mess. Also, please bring back the old water testers that lit up when you needed a new filter. No need to change batteries with those and they were just as helpful and accurate as the pretend meters included in the new sets.

Had one years ago and I loved it. After moving a couple times I ended up needing another one and the quality of the pitcher itself is garbage. Super cheap plastic and the rubber seal peeled off almost immediately. Very disappointing.

I bought this on a military base and the TDS meter didn’t work at all since opening. I changed the batteries for it and it still doesn’t work so we can’t tell the quality of the water. Shortly after using it the water tasted lemony and apparently that means it’s time to change the filter… we had only been using it for a week! HOW does it need a new filter?!?! Now the water tastes like dirt and when tested with PH drops it’s incredibly acidic compared to the Pūr filter water on the tap that’s alkaline. My husband is literally obsessed with filling up the Zero water dispenser with filtered water from the Pūr since we live on a military base with endless lawsuits due to living conditions and water. So far the water tastes bad, the tester has never worked, and the filter isn’t filtering water through anymore. It just stays in the top and doesn’t filter down.

Love this water filter! Such a relief knowing my water doesn’t have solids in it. The large size is definitely the way to go… I’m a big water drinker, but also use the filter for boiling pots of water for pasta. I need to fill the reservoir at least once per day, but I keep it right next to the sink to make my life easier. The filtering speed is a bit slow, so you have to wait a bit to get a full tank. Definitely a small inconvenience relative to the peace of mind from knowing you are not ingesting anything you don’t want to though! Maybe this company will make a larger size in the future!

I was tired of the ones that hook onto the faucet with a special adapter because everyone in the household had problems using them and I would up having to keep them filled! This pitcher makes it easy to refill. You just open the chamber and let the water in!

Horrendous design, but happy with the water quality. I have never owned such an awful pitcher to open (difficult to grab the lid) or to pour (water runs down the side of the pitcher). The only reason I awarded this 3 stars is due to the water quality. I can’t recommend this to anyone until the design is improved, unfortunately.

I have had my 30 Cup Ready-Pour™ 5-Stage Water Filter Dispenser for over a year. My tap water measures 300+ tds and tastes awful. I don't want to waste money on plastic bottles of water, so I gave this a try. Now, every guest gets to see (and taste) my 0 tds water. This purchase was a gift for my son, and he loves it too! Thank you for a great product that truly makes a difference in the quality of our drinking water.

Worked very well initially but the filter ran out after only a few weeks. At the current price for replacement filters, this is not financially sustainable for me.

There is very little we can do to extend the life of our filters when the water supply is so high in TDS. Our filters are designed to remove over 99% of dissolved solids; in areas with high TDS readings filter life will be short.

There is a learning curve to using ZeroWater system. It took me a week or two to gain the ZeroW IQ. I found this results in worry-free delicious water. Far better than bottled drinking water! As my Zero IQ continues to improve, I’m using more and more water. Soon I will graduate to needing a larger countertop model to l make it convenient to use filtered water for all food preparation. I recycle my bottled water containers by filling them with ZeroWater. Much better than the water they contained when I bought them!

I’ve had my filter for 2+ years now and have had no complaints. I change my filter every other month and buy in bulk to alleviate the high costs for filters. I can tell a huge difference when my filter needs changing - the water taste is immaculate! The downside is that the warranty is only 90 days and I’m 2+ years in and one of the washers on the inside that holds the water has given out and water just leaks out. Disappointing that something as simple as that isn’t covered in the warranty. If you buy one of these you’ll love it and have to replace it every 2 ish years.
