I think one of the best ideas is that it has a wide bottom so it stands up. I really like it. I'm going to a more environmentally sound household (trying to)away for throw away plastics. Love this item.

I love these containers. I have the full set along with the cups and bags and they’re well used. They aren’t airtight or spill proof but it stands upright on its own so that’s not a concern for me. We’ve eliminated plastic in our kitchen, and are using glass and silicone for food storage. These containers are great for leftovers and so easy to fill, use, and clean.
