best blackhead scrubs

Blackhead scrubs use both physical exfoliants (for example, walnut shell, apricot seed powder, and plastic-free beads) and chemical exfoliants, most commonly salicylic acid and glycolic acid.

Recommendations vary by product: some are labeled for daily use, while others advise using the scrub 2–3 times per week or once to twice weekly.

A typical three-step nose-strip system includes a pore-dissolving adhesive strip, tools or swabs to remove loosened impurities, and a soothing sheet or patch to calm the skin and help reduce pore appearance afterward.

Many formulations target oily, combination, and acne-prone skin; several products also list normal, sensitive, or dry skin as suitable.

Common advertised benefits include exfoliating and deep pore cleansing, oil control or oil absorption, and improved skin texture; some products specifically target acne or blackheads.
