Kids' compression products are used to wrap and support sprains, strains, and swelling; provide gentle compression for joints during activity or recovery; secure dressings and hold hot/cold packs; and soothe infant tummies with warming or cooling therapy.

Common securing methods are hook-and-loop closures, self-closure ends, self-adhering/stretchy materials that stick to themselves, and clips that hold bandage ends in place.

Reusable gel-bead compresses and gel eye masks are described as hot-or-cold therapy. Some infant belly wraps include a microwaveable clay pack that can also be frozen for cooling.
