Years ago when I was living in Turkey, I always liked this brand. Even though Optimum was way more expensive than other supplements, I still tried to buy it because it was my favorite. But unfortunately, not all of their products were available in Turkey. Now that I live in the U.S., I’m always an Optimum customer. After using it for so many years, I know they make the best and most effective sports supplements. — From a long-time loyal customer.

I've been using this product for 7 years now. Just Excellent!

This is very easy to use. It mixes easily and well into foods especially if dissolved in warm or hot water. We add it to jello! We mix 2 tablespoons of glutamine powder into the jello mix (large box). Blends well. Then add 2 cups of hot water and stir for 2 minutes as directed on the Jello box. Then stir in 2 cups of cold water and refrigerate. The jello tastes the same with or without the powder. When mixing glutamine into a cold drink, such as apple juice, it does not dissolve as well as with a warm drink.

It's glutamine, but it has a very slight odor to it. Not an unpleasant smell really, but other brands I've used don't have this aroma. I'll finish up the rest of this one and then go back to buying the other brand I was using. It is slightly more expensive, but I liked it better.

I can't say that I find much difference among the various amino acid supplements (maybe that's just me), so I shop mainly for value, and this is a great one.

I take a lot of L-Glutamine daily. I have 1,000 mg. capsules and 1,500 mg. tablets on hand for emergencies, if I'm in a hurry, or if I run out of the powder. I prefer to get my L-Glutamine in powder form. That makes it much easier for me to take the many grams I want to utilize daily. I put a couple of scoops (or tsps) into a healthy drink or two that I consume daily, using that drink to wash down my supplements that I take at that time of day. I feel that L-Glutamine is great for my brain and my muscles. Smart and Strong with lots of L-Glutamine. Now that's versatility!! I have used different brands of L-Glutamine Powder which I have purchased from Swanson. All have given me the same top level of satisfaction and results. I was just about out, so I recently perused Swanson's wonderful website for the best deals. I found this large size 100% Pure L-Glutamine Powder from Optimum Nutrition, and it appeared to be the best deal. I ordered it. It is just as good as the others I've gotten from Swanson Health Products. I highly recommend L-Glutamine. . . . And the powder form is the best, easiest, most economical, and user-friendly (no taste issue, and it mixes readily into any liquid) way to take good amounts of L-Glutamine. Go for it.
