I read the the B vitamins are good for energy and other health issues, but didn't notice much benefit.

It does give me energy the super B stress complex is excellent. I take this plus the one that has the vitamin C in it. my holistic doctor recommended megadoses of vitamin B to cure my carpal tunnel syndrome. After three days, my carpal tunnel syndrome was gone. I could open a door knob again no operation. It was miraculous!

Vitamin B complex is a must-have daily supplement for me next to vitamin c. It's getting expensive but it's a must have and Swanson always has the best deal with the best quality.

I've been taking balance b50 for many years. It is a great product

there aren't alot of vit c complex choices but this is a good one. regular, synthetic ascorbic acid and ascorbate denature the ceruloplasmin, copper transport protein and allow copper to leach out. unbound copper like iron and fluoride can be very reactive causing ros. the vit c complex from food and/or fermentation contains 2 bound copper atoms per complex molecule. bioavailable copper is very important for iron regulation and many enzymes.

I take a lot of vitamins and have been doing so for over 30 years. I estimate about 90 pills a day. I used to buy most of my vitamins from a Swanson competitor but in recent years that competitor has drastically cut down their inventory and availability to the point where I started buying much more from Swanson. Since that switch, I have noticed an uptick of diarrhea and I think I've pinpointed it to this particular Swanson product- B-50 capsules. I don't know if it's because of Swanson's formula or the fact that the product comes in capsules instead of caplets, but if I take more than 1 of these per day, I notice drastic changes in the form of diarrhea. The aforementioned competitor sells their B-50 in the form of caplets (when it's available from them) and that seems to be the reason that I used to be able to take 4 of those per day in 4 divided doses (along with all the other supplements I usually take) without suffering from diarrhea. It could just be that Swanson's formula may be actually more potent than the competitor's but that doesn't help if I want to keep high blood levels of the product all day long by taking 4 per day. If you only intend to take 1 per day, Swanson's may be for you but beware if you intend to take more.
