standardized black pepper that helps with absorption of nutrients. If what is eaten is not absorbed your health could be at risk. Those who say to me, "I can eat anything and I don't gain weight is not a good thing.

Some capsules came open

I noticed a couple of bottles where some of the capsules had allowed the powder to come out. Some capsules where completely empty.

Nutrient Enhancement

I use this product to help with the absortion of turmeric in particular, although it has been shown to enhance the absorption of other nutrients (vitamins & minerals) as well. Quality supplements can get expensive & I would recommend bioperin as a cost effective measure.

Adding Bioperine to your morning herbals increases absorbtion of Turmeric & other herbals.

Bioperine is a derivative of black pepper & an "activator" for many herbs & even prescription medications. I use it in conjunction with Turmeric for a faster and longer lasting result from the herb which I would NOT get using it by itself. I find that taking Bioperine with my morning & evening herbals & medications seems to increase their efficacy & longer duration of desired effects especially pain relief thru the turmeric's ability to reduce inflammation. Swanson has a good price & supply of it, I try to order some with almost every order I send in, I DO NOT want to be without it. Latshaw

Useful suppliment.

I've been using this for a few years. I guess there's no real way to tell if it's doing what it says, but it is very affordable and so why not try it? I also researched it a bit and it is supposed to help with what it says it will do. Worth it to me, and tiny caps are easy to swallow along with others. I also use fresh ground black pepper on many things, for the same reason as well as for a spark in flavor!

secret enhancer

If you read anything about supplements, you know they work much better with black pepper. Something about it just pushes absorption to the top. You can get many products with bioperine added, for a few added bucks as well. Or, be smart and get the bottle and just add it to your daily intake yourself. Much more economical, and adds to your benefit of all your supplements

Economical Assistance

I had to try Bioperine after reading a few articles stating that it may help increase the absorption of the other supplements that I was already taking. As I was paying for several other supplements, why not add this inexpensive supplement to my daily routine to help ensure that I was getting as much benefit as possible from the other supplements.
