It’s handled my kids, jumping on the bed and also extremely waterproof because everything spilled on it hasn’t gotten through to the mattress yet and it also doesn’t have that extremely annoying crinkly sound of plastic underneath you.

It fit my mattress great and I can tell it’s durable but I cannot deal with the heat. It doesn’t make much noise. I just can’t stand the heat. It makes me sweat so I took it off.

However, once it was on, I realized how easy it will be to take on and off the mattress to clean etc. I will say I don’t think it is very breathable and I’ve slept warmer on it. Not necessarily sure I would recommend based on that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really great mattress cover. I used it with my 5 year old son. He’s incredibly particular and didn’t even notice it was on. After unboxing I threw it in the wash and was happy to see there was no pilling or deteriorating of the product. The mattress cover goes on semi easily and fits perfectly. I’m used to the covers that stretch over and they are just simply easier. This is of course overall protection but I’ve never had an issue with the bottom of a mattress needing protection. Once the mattress is encased it zippers around the rest of the cover. The zipper is thick plastic and feels good quality. There’s also a strap that holds the cover in place. This is a fantastic idea and works well. Laying on it myself feels good. Again it doesn’t slide and there’s no sound. It’s made of more of a fabric and not a plastic like so many others that tend to be loud. That had in fact been an issue with my son in the past. No issues through the week. I washed it a second time after that and again it came out looking and feeling great. This has to be due to the better fabric. Overall this is a great mattress cover. It feels like a quality fabric with no noise or movement compared with others on the market.

I love that it is waterproof and completely enclosed to protect my expensive mattress without the usual crunchy, crinkly feeling. As a person who sleeps warm, I appreciate that this product is temperature balancing as most waterproof covers make me sweat. I truly did not notice a difference and sleep comfortably all night. My husband suffers from cat allergies, and of course we have a cat, so this helps create the allergen relief oasis we strive for in the bedroom. It feels smooth and will be much easier to wash with the zip-off feature. Cons: This mattress protector was a pain in the you-know-what to get on! My mattress, a Beautyrest Black, is over 100lbs and getting the bottom of this mattress protector on left me drenched in sweat with a newfound talent in creative cuss words. Make sure you have help! Two was just not enough for us. I also had difficulty zipping around corners as our bed frame has four posts that cut close to the mattress. But the rest of the process was smooth. I also do not feel this is a plush topper. It feels nice, but do not expect extra padding. All-in-all I am very happy with this product and plan to purchase two for my children’s beds.

This is nice because the top part unzips instead of having to take the whole thing off. I will say though that it was difficult for me to get on the bed alone (I needed my husband’s help to lift the mattress), but I am excited to not have to take off the entire protector every time my son has an accident!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I reviewed the Allerease Platinum Zip-Off mattress protector through Influenster, and I am absolutely in love! It took literally about 2 or 3 mins to install, which is an amazing time frame to add this to your bed. The protector has a fully removable zip off top, which makes this not only extremely easy to cover or remove from the bed, but also makes it so easy to remove only the top cover to wash, instead of having to remove the entire protector. It's features are that it's waterproof (with spill and stain protection), an allergen protector (blocking 99.9% of allergens), is a bedbug barrier, has "Heiq Pure" Antimicrobial protection (which prevents odors by inhibiting the growth of bacteria on the product), it balances your body's temperature (so you are never too hot or too cold), and the top layer is made with a circular knit fabric which is extremely comfortable, and surprisingly so for a 100% polyester product. We slept on the actual protector itself for a night without a sheet covering, and I could not believe how comfortable it was. I almost didn't even want to cover it with a fitted sheet at all! That being said, I 100% highly recommend this product!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hard to get on? I would say yes in comparing it to our traditional mattress pad we’ve been using. I have 3 kids, 3 of them are still in diapers. So mattress pads are a must in this house. It does its job. No liquid made its way onto the mattress and it’s able to be cleaned and wiped down easily. Doesn’t make noise when the kids move around either which I like.
