Protected my mattress completely I’m impressed! Held all the liquid and I was able to toss it in the washer right after. I suggest for someone with a perfectly new mattress to use target brand plastic zip mattress protector first then the fitted allerease cooling mattress protector for double protection. It does work!

This is an excellent product and does everything it says it does. Keeps us cool at night, prevents liquids (sweat, spills or accidents) from soaking in and keeps dust and other unwanted things from sticking to your mattress. It is washable. It helps your mattress last longer!

Absolutely no cooling effect whatsoever. Have woken up every night sweating and finally decided we cannot take it anymore. Only need it as we are still potty training our puppy. Unfortunately, I cannot return as I through away the packaging but I assure you I would if I could. Cannot speak to the waterproof feature as of yet.

Easy to put on 14.5” deep king bed, but allergy layer feels like a felt-backed plastic tablecloth. I cut the plastic layer out and am temporarily using it with just the quilted layer until I can find something else. Partially my fault because I should have guessed given it is an allergen protection mattress topper, but honestly felt like I was going to be swallowed by a plastic bag.

Soft fabric, not noisy as the waterproof mattress pads of the past. Nice fit, could even fit a thicker mattress. I live with and sleep with two dogs who occasionally barf or leave wet spots from licking. I just bought a new mattress and want to keep it clean and dry. The dealbreaker for me is the slickness of the waterproofy part and how it causes my sheets to slide around and pulls them off the bed. For that I have to return it.

I bought this thinking it would be crunchy and loud but I needed something in stock as my previous one ripped and couldn't be used any longer. It fit my bed perfectly, is a little thin but was afraid it would be noisey due to reviews. It is not noisey and does not slide. It is perfect for an economical waterproof cover. Will order one that is a little thicker after the holidays to have on hand and my mattress needs the extra cushion. But, this one is working perfectly and comfortable and would be perfect if my mattress was better.

Cooling but waterproof…the only time you feel cooling is the 5 minutes after you get in bed. The rest of the night you’re sweaty because the plastic waterproof lining and your warm body. I would return it if you could return it used.
