FlashXpress Toaster Oven, 1300W

I expected better from the reviews I read, a bit disappointing. The oven does NOT have a broil function, never thought of checking for that since all my previous ovens had that. Also even on the highest toast setting, English muffins and sour dough bread need multiple cycles to toast, then to stop it mid way, you have power it off. It also does not have a bagel function, also a disappointment. I do like the small footprint, one of the good selling points.

This thing is super compact, so it doesn’t hog precious counter space, but it still packs a serious punch when it comes to cooking. What I really love is how versatile it is. I’ve used it for everything from toasting bagels in the morning to baking little personal pizzas for dinner. It heats up crazy fast thanks to the double infrared technology, so I’m not waiting around for ages like with my big oven. Plus, it cooks food really evenly—I never get those burnt edges or cold spots. The controls are super simple and easy to use, which is great because I’m not exactly a pro chef. Cleanup’s a breeze too. And since it’s so compact, I can just move it out of the way if I need more space to prep meals. Honestly, for anyone living in a small space or just wanting a solid little toaster oven that can handle a bunch of different cooking tasks, I can’t recommend the Panasonic FlashXpress enough! It’s been a total lifesaver for my meals.

I love the size and convenience of this toaster oven in our small kitchen. The toast feature allowed us to get rid of our toaster. Added bonus was that there was no plastic or styrofoam in the packaging!

Very fast. Uses little counter space, easy to use. Not as many option as some of the others but it does what I bought this for in a fantastic manner.

This is not too big, it fits like 4 slices of bread. It toasts faster than my normal toaster. The design is sleek and stylish, it looks like a mini oven. It bakes and toasts quickly and does not take up much space. It is also easy to store in a cabinet if you want to. we are pleased with this toaster oven. The crumb tray is easy to remove from the front for cleaning, a nice feature.I am very satisfied with this reheating pizza, cooking frozen snacks—all good. The six cooking menus with preset buttons automatically calculate the cooking time for a verity of food with a digital timer up to 25 minutes. the temperature can be controlled up to 8 levels ranging from 275 F to 500 F.read instructions before use it’s really helps.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how bright the light is inside. It heats up very fast. On the preheating button i noticed the light would keep turning on and off. Im guessing it uses the light to help heat itself. Worked great toasting bread and baking rolls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Panasonic — I love this thing. It works with infrared light for this reason so I don’t have to preheat. This little toaster works great. I’ve used a lot of toasters and they’re extremely disappointing in terms of toast quality — uneven and uneven toasting, often with one side not even toasted. Overall, this toaster is both a toaster and a reheat/cooker. What do I love about this toaster? First, it’s small so it doesn’t take up much more space than my 4-slice toaster. Second, and most importantly, it makes AMAZING toast and is twice as fast as any toaster I’ve ever used. Literally, the toast is done in a flash thanks to the dual light. Third, I love that the toaster lights up inside (lights up) while toasting so I can see how the bread is getting darker and can stop a few seconds early if needed. Fourth, it's super easy to use, press the on button, press the COOK BREAD button and (if desired) press the button to increase or decrease the darkness. The toast comes out beautifully - evenly browned, crispy and cooked through on both sides. It automatically pushes the rack up and out a bit when you open the door and has yet to hurt me in any way. It's great!! Other things cook just as well and quickly - roasts and frozen snacks (these are the ones I've tried so far). Overall, I'd highly recommend this little toaster even if you're just toasting bread!

This toaster makes perfect toast and reheats food quickly and easily. It toasts so much quicker than my old toaster. I love it so far. My only complaint (and it's a major one for me, is that the electric cord comes out from the side of the toaster towards the front instead of in the back. No matter how hard I've tried, the cord sticks out where it can be seen, which is very annoying for me. It's such a nice-looking appliance and this feature really ruins the aesthetic.

I received this toaster oven for a gift a little over a year and loved it, but then the bottom heating element broke-- the ceramic rod broke in half and now rests on the bottom of the toaster floor. I had a terrible Black and Decker that I used for about 15 years, and I'm very disappointed that this expensive and nice toaster oven can't be used for more than a year. I've looked up videos on how to replace the heating element and it involves dismantling the entire toaster. Panasonic, any advice?

This small toaster oven works very well . It’s a new purchase for me, so still experimenting. It makes great toast!
