Dove Men+Care Shampoo Charcoal + Clay, 12 oz

I would give this five stars but I can only use this once or twice in a 2 week span. If I use it more it strips my hair too much. I absolutely love the smell and what it does to my hair the times I do use it. When I have too much product in my hair its a great clenser/ restart to my hair. It makes it so shiny too. The lather is wonderful and did I mention the smell? Its fantastic.

It cleaned my hair and left it feeling healthy, and I didn’t feel like there was any residue left behind after using it. I thought my hair had nicer curl definition after using this product, which I found interesting because there’s nothing necessarily about this product that would imply it. It didn’t do anything for my boyfriend’s straight hair. But, we both agree that it was a great shampoo and we felt like it cleaned our hair and scalps well. My only issue was that the scent was okay. It’s a spicy, clean scent that sometimes I would enjoy, sometimes not. It’s a definite “you have to be in the mood to enjoy this scent.” Besides that, the shampoo was great.
