Annie Selke - Dash & Albert Crosshatch Denim Hand Micro Hooked Wool Rug, 6x9, Denim

This is a beautiful color with a "texture" created by lighter yarns. I purchased 5 runners. I knew they were handmade, but didn't dream that they could vary in width by over an inch, so I didn't check for this. I used them as a stair runner with 2 landings. As luck would have it, we mitered the corners on the first landing, using the narrower rug with a standard width rug. Of course it didn't work with the width difference, so we had to waste half of each runner. This was an expensive event. The remainder of the narrower rug was also unusable since it did not line up with the other runners. Regardless, it is a beautiful product. Beware if you plan a stair runner by piecing the runners together and measure first.

We bought 2 of these rugs for each of my boys room. Definitely buy a rug pad to go under it. It's a beautiful rug, very simple

Saw this Crosshatch Denim in a store while on vacation and loved it. I ordered it online when I got home. 8x10. There was no tracking info provided, but it arrived 5 days later. I do love the texture, weight and color, but... The inner edge is still rolled up a bit even though I have had weights on it for 3 weeks now. Customer support had a few suggestions, like rolling it the opposite direction for a while. That was a real pain with a rug this size and didn't help. The weights are back. My other issue is the white underneath shows on the two short edges. I may have to get some fabric dye. But really, for the price I paid, I was expecting to just unroll it and be happy.

My first purchase of a Dash & Albert rug, and the quality/construction didn't disappoint. The color saturation of this rug makes it really as stunning in person as online. It was a bit coarser underfoot than other wool rugs I have but that's just testing it out of the box with no rug pad underneath. Unfortunately, the pile height was too much for the door in my entryway and I'll be returning the rug.
