Jute rug in kitchen

We put this in the work area part of the kitchen over an old linoleum floor. It works perfectly with a rug pad underneath. Cleaning it may be a problem in case of spills, but short term it is a satisfactory solution. Otherwise we'd have to replace the entire kitchen floor which is not an easy option.
