I purchased this rug for home office. It’s beautiful. Much softer than I expected.

After just a week after installation, this stair runner had snags and looked like it had endured years of traffic. I am SO disappointed because it was not a cheap runner and looked so beautiful. I wish I had read the other reviews saying the same thing but now I'm stuck with a rug that doesn't lay flat and looks like it's old and needs to be replaced.

I bought the 8 foot runner for my bathroom as well as the rug pad. Rug doesn't lay completely flat . The edges ripple as well-

This rug wears terribly in a high traffic area. It shows dirt that the prior rug in this location never had, AND it has pilled, snagged etc.... it is just not durable at all. Close to garbage after less than a year.

I purchased 4 of them in various sizes for our beach house. We have dogs, teenage boys and so on. So far it has held up, I did use the Bissell stomp pads for a stain spot and it lifted right up. Color is perfect for lighter floors.

I really wanted to love this rug because it is so pretty and, as stated, has a soft, wool-like texture. However from the beginning the rug just didn't lie flat, but rather has a bumpy look that just won't settle making it appear to be a cheap, inexpensive rug. Considering I have rugs from Surya for the same price range that are beautiful and don't have this issue, I am disappointed. Additionally it is not "scrubbable" as it turns "fuzzy" when you do. I'm not really sure how this could be promoted as a rug for high traffic areas, never mind outdoors! I do love Dash and Albert rugs and will most likely try another. But I wish I had not purchased this one. I have had this for a couple of months in a lightly used area and am already seeing pulls. Disappointing.

I cannot recommend this rug after seeing how poorly the construction and material have held up under normal use. I'm a designer and have used this rug in a couple of projects (both indoors) and I'm so disappointed to report that both look terrible and will have to be replaced. From the beginning there were small pulls in the weave and those flaws have only gotten worse and more visible as time has passed (only about a year or two). The overall texture also quickly deteriorated and it looks fuzzy and worn out. The rugs have also stretched quite a bit and thus won't lay down properly. It is most certainly not durable as described and I would say that it is not well-made.

The rug has the look and feel of wool/cotton and is the same to touch.
