Awkward and Leaks a Lot
I purchased this steamer and set it up but didn't use it right away since life was very busy during the holidays. When I did, it leaked all over my hardwood floor, and quite a lot. I checked all the connections and tried it another time. It still leaked profusely. Then my husband tried it, and had the same result. When I took it to a Target store, I was told I couldn't return it because 30 days had lapsed. I was given a customer service phone number, which I called, and I was told there should be a manufacturer's 1-year warranty on the product but because I bought it through a third party, Groupe Sub, it was 30 days. I had no idea I wasn't buying it from Target, and wouldn't be getting the quality service many of us have come to expect! Very disappointed and out $150 bucks.

HATE this iron.
I hate this iron….it’s heavy and bulky and hard to handle. It’s nothing like the previous Rowentas I’ve owned. I wish I hadn’t wasted my money on it. The fabric setting light is so dull, it’s practically unreadable!!!

Perfect Steam Iron
I had old version (Rowenta) over 25 years old. Until I purchased this replacement steam iron. I did not realize I was overworking myself. Now the ironing is smooth and easy. The weight the iron allows me to glide over the fabric and look professional when completed. I would purchase this steam iron again.

Professional-like iron with excellent steam
I have always had average irons. My trip to Australia changed all that when we had a similar iron in terms of steam capacity. This iron has massive steam capacity and makes ironing a breeze.

Bad iron
Too heavy. Steam button is hard to press. Iron goes into an error mode. Have to unplug to reset.

Satisfied with quality
Quality and good performance. I've been using rowenta for over a decade. I was disappointed the last one lasted less than 10 years. This one has some improvements though. More solid footing for standing upright. Better steam dispersal with holes on the faceplate. I hope this lasts a long time. Shirts come out wrinkless.

Not worth the price.
This iron takes forever to heat up. The price for this item is too high for the minimal performance that it provides. It takes forever to get hot and then not much steam is generated when using the product.

The heat controls are frustrating
I’ve had this iron for over a year. The weight is excellent, heat plate is top notch. My issue is your hand has to be in a certain position to use the steam function. That position is over the heat controls! When I’m ironing sheets or linen tablecloths, I use the steam trigger and I inevitably change the settings from the highest to the lowest because the control gets inadvertently touched. I hate this iron, despite the wonderful qualities. I’m swearing at it right now with a 120” linen tablecloth.

Simply the best ironing tool.
My wonderful wife is the one in the household that does the ironing. Shirts and dress pants simply cannot go out without a decent look, and the ironing must be done! She inherited a Rowena after her mother passed, [she was an ironing Queen] and used it many years until it calcified beyond cleaning. Being fruegal she acquired a lesser brand and was not satisfied with it. So I purchased this model, and she is now in ironing heaven!

Rowenta Steamforce Steam Iron
My last Rowenta Steam Iron lasted over 15 years before breaking in a fall. This iron heats up quickly and firmly stands up without wobbling on the iron board. No complaints, I love it!

Bad design and too heavy
This iron is too heavy and awkward to hold. The steam button is right where you would put your fingers on the handle. Bad design in my opinion. Also, I keep accidentally changing the setting(from wool to cotton, etc)without meaning to. Not worth the price. Wish I could return it.

Lasted ten months!
I bought this in December 2024. I used only tap water and emptied it after each use. It now leaks, and by “leaks” I mean the water pours out of the side and puddles on the ironing board. That was the first problem. Now, even at the highest setting, it is barely warm. What the heck happened to the once great company?! Tip: Search estate sales and thrift stores for an OLD iron from a time when irons actually got hot because people didn’t sue companies for nothing!

Very Heavy Iron
I absolutely love the iron. This is my second Rowenta however, I've noticed this one is quite heavier than the first one I had purchased. I'm older now, and as a senior with shoulder issues, it's difficult pushing this iron around over the ironing board. Had I known that this iron was going to be this heavy I would have chose another iron. I'm not getting any younger, and I spend this kind of money on an iron because I expect it to last me 10 to 15 years. I'll be well into my 80s and definitely not wanting to push an iron around that's this heavy

I like the iron very much. I especially like the fact it gets very hot. I don’t like the fact it leaks. This is about my 8th Rowenta iron and the first problem I have had I read the directions 3 times as I thought perhaps I was doing something wrong. I have used it three times.
