I bought this with high hopes. The metal side is quite good and meets my expectations. After a few uses, it has a lot of scratches, but that’s expected with normal wear and tear. I’m giving two stars for the metal side alone. However, I deducted three stars due to the poor quality of the wooden side. The surface is uneven and full of splinters — it actually scratched my fingers when I ran my hand across it. I don’t feel safe using that side at all. Unfortunately, since I’ve already used the metal side, I can’t return it. I’ll just stick to using the metal side and ignore the wooden part. Picture is the wooden side surface with oil on it. Red circles are those uneven spots with splinters.

This cutting board is exactly what I wanted....metal for meat and the wood for everything else. I have only had it a week and can't speak to the durability. How we it is really easy to clean and the wood dries relatively quickly.
