  • A: Hi there! Thanks so much for your question. The back of the rug, the part that touches the floor, is made with 19% latex. It’s noted as having “no full backing,” which just means it doesn’t have a complete extra layer, but the latex still helps give it some grip and structure underneath. So you'll mostly have latex in contact with the floor.

    Better than Expected

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was nervous about getting this rug for my baby‘s nursery because of the texture and pattern. I didn’t want the room to look too busy being that it’s a place where he is supposed to sleep and become however, the rug in size exceeded my expectations and I’m so happy I just went with my gut. I did have to let it air out for about a day or two because it did have a smell, but once it was aired out everything late perfectly fine with no issues I had previously purchased the rug mat so that had already laid out for a few days before the rug actually came, but it all worked out perfectly fine and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my purchase. The rug is so soft and my baby loves to sit on the rug and rub his fingers through the threads.
