Not my favorite, but will work in the mean time
I bought this to replace my 15-year-old Hamilton Beach slow cooker of similar design. I have used it once and I found that although it is the capacity I was looking for, the logistics are not my favorite. It only has three small rubber feet on the bottom, so while stirring the pot is prone to shift and tilts to the back left or right since that is the side with only one foot. The feet are also not sticky enough to keep the pot from slipping around the counter if you are not holding the handle. The outside also gets really hot to the touch, even on low, so you absolutely must hold the handle while stirring or serving.

Hello! Thank you for sharing your experience—we understand how important stability and ease of use are when cooking. Here are a few tips that may help improve your experience: 1. Place the unit on a non-slip surface (such as a silicone mat or damp towel underneath) to reduce movement while stirring. 2. Always hold the handle while stirring or serving to keep the unit steady and avoid shifting. 3. Use heat-resistant gloves or mitts when handling the outer surface, as it can get hot during operation. 4. Position the cooker on a flat, stable countertop away from edges to prevent tilting. We appreciate your feedback and will be sure to share it with our team for review. If you need any further assistance, please feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help. https://www.crock-pot.com/support/contact-us We’re available Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM ET. Great item but handle broke
I received my 7-Quart Crock pot as a Christmas gift. The size is just right for my family. I’ve have only used it a handful of times since receiving it, and the other night while cooking, the screw stripped from the handle and broke and came right off the lid. It’s still under warranty, however Crockpot is refusing to send out a replacement handle to fix the issue. I’ve sent all required documentation and they still don’t want to replace a simple issue that’s beyond my control.

Very disappointed!
I have had this for about a year. It is very cheaply made. The gray outside cover moves around and comes out if you touch it. I noticed several months ago that the ceramic insert looks like it started getting some hairline cracks but hey looked superficial. When I would use it, I always noticed there was a brown liquid on the outside òf the ceramic insert. After I cooked with it yesterday, I have noticed that it now is probably unusable. The ceramic insert has so many cracks that I'm afraid it will explode or burst if I use it again.

Hello, Thank you for sharing your experience with the Crock-Pot® Programmable Crockpot 7-Quart Cook and Carry Slow Cooker. We’re very sorry to hear about the issues you’ve encountered, as the safety and durability of our products are very important to us. Ceramic inserts can sometimes develop cracks over time, especially with frequent use, temperature changes, or accidental impacts, and any signs of significant cracking or leakage indicate the unit should no longer be used to prevent potential hazards. We recommend discontinuing use immediately. Please, explore our replacement products at various retailers listed here: https://www.crock-pot.com/e-replacement-parts.html . To check availability, kindly inquire with the respective retailers, as this information is not within our database. You will just need to mention the model of your product. Awful. Don't buy this.
The interior ceramic piece broke after two uses. The outside of the Crock-Pot gets miserably hot. This is probably the worst Crock-Pot I have ever owned and instead of being able to use it, it is going to the landfill because it leaks into the outer shell of the crock pot through the cracked ceramic. How does it even crack like this!? Disappointed with this product for sure. Quality is subpar.

Hello. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the Crock-Pot® Programmable 7-Quart Cook & Carry Slow Cooker. We’re very sorry to hear that the ceramic insert cracked after only two uses and that the unit became unsafe to use. This is certainly not the quality or durability we expect from a Crock-Pot product. Ceramic inserts can crack if exposed to sudden temperature changes, such as placing a cold insert into a hot base or adding cold liquids to a hot insert. That said, cracking after such limited use is understandably frustrating and not the experience we want for our customers. The outer housing can also become hot during operation, but it should never pose a safety concern or result in leaking. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and strongly recommend contacting us directly with your purchase details so we can offer further support. Please reach out to us via our Contact Us form on our website. We’re available Mon.-Fri. 9am - 5pm Eastern Time. Thank you! Crockpot® Consumer Care

Great for lazy meals
I love my crock pot especially if I want to cook something lazy. You can slow cook all day or speed it up by putting it to high. Just put the food to cook and do worry about it until it’s done!

Way Too Hot
Like others, I should have read the reviews before I bought this Crockpot. I have had several Crockpots and they all worked well, but we needed a bigger one, so we bought this unit. No matter what setting I set, it gets too hot, especially in one corner, and then it boils the stew or burns whatever I am trying to cook. It does this even on the "Keep Warm" setting. I measured the temperature of the stew in the corner that is boiling the most and it is 190 F when on "Keep Warm"

Hello, Thank you for sharing your experience with the Crock-Pot® Programmable 7-Quart Cook and Carry Slow Cooker, and we understand how frustrating it must be to see your meals overheat no matter which setting you choose. This model is designed to maintain steady, gentle heat, even on Keep Warm, so the temperatures you’re describing, especially the 190°F reading in one corner, are not typical of how the unit should perform. Your feedback is important, and we’d like to look into this further, as uneven or excessive heating isn’t expected with this slow cooker. Amazing
Crock-Pots are great for making cooking easier since you can just toss in your ingredients and let it cook all day! They're perfect for stews, soups, and even desserts. The low and slow cooking really brings out the flavors!

Cheaply made
Dented straight out of the box. The outer part and handles feel super cheaply made. Crock pot used to have quality products and now they all seem cheap and flimsy. I'll have to look to another brand for my replacement.

Great crockpot with a set it and forget it setting
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took a while to get this review in but I should note I love this crockpot! Made some chocolate candies in it (crock pot liners are my new love) and all turned out beautifully :) Chocolate is always fussy on temperature, so it's great having the temperature in general working as expected (i.e., it all melted evenly without burning) :) While I didn't use it this time, it's great also knowing there's a set it and forget it feature (just a timer where it'll turn off without you present). Disclaimer: I received this product in exchange for my honest review.

Easy to use right out of the box love it !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great and simple crockpot. Super easy to use and very sturdy! I accidentally dropped the ceramic bowl when opening and not a single issue! I made a super delicious Mac and cheese for a family dinner and everyone loved it ! It is pretty heavy so moving it could be a pain in the back My only issue is that we already have a instant pot which does the same thing faster. If you want the old fashioned slow cooker this is a definite recommendation!

A Must-Have Slow Cooker for Busy Parents
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this Crock-Pot slow cooker! As a first-time user, I found it incredibly easy to use. The large porcelain pot is a bit heavy, but it’s worth it because it’s so durable and holds enough to make meals for my family of four. The temperature settings are very accurate, which ensures my meals turn out perfectly. It’s perfect for preparing healthy dishes, and I can already see myself using it a lot for meals my child will enjoy. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable and convenient slow cooker!

The cover is a game changer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was easy to use and simple to clean. I like how it wasn't too heavy and such a big perk to have it be made available for travelling with. I brought it to a potluck party and it was easy to cover, bring over, and plug in to an outlet to keep warm! I had people asking me what it is, they'd never seen anyone bring a slow cooker out to a party before. Definitely bringing it to more gatherings to keep any dips, soups, stews, or pretty much anything warm!

No spills!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Crock-Pot® Programmable 7-Quart Cook and Carry Slow Cooker has been a total game-changer in my kitchen! The 7-quart capacity is perfect for making large meals, whether I’m meal-prepping for the week or hosting a gathering. I love the programmable settings—it’s so easy to set the cooking time, and it automatically switches to “warm” when it’s done, so I don’t have to worry about overcooking. The carry-and-go design with the locking lid is brilliant. I’ve used it to bring dishes to potlucks, and it’s so convenient knowing there won’t be any spills during transport. Plus, the grey design is sleek and fits nicely with my kitchen decor. Cleanup is a breeze too, thanks to the removable stoneware insert. If you’re looking for a reliable and versatile slow cooker, this one is a must-have!

Simple and effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it! It was great for the chili I made this holiday for my family. It held enough to feed 10 people and kept the food nice and warm. It only has three settings but it gets to a safe cooking point! I do need to purchase liners as to not mess up the removable glass bowl.
