Q: My son is a cross country truck driver. I was so excited when I saw this but disappointed that there is no way to use an adapter.
A: The brand experts must live under rocks & have no idea semi trucks are just like an RV in the back. You can get a power converter from target for $10 & the cigarette lighter becomes a 110 outlet.
submitted byBecca - 5 months agoA: Hello! Thanks for reaching out to us. We understand your disappointment about being unable to use an adapter. Please note that CrockPot Food Warmer should never be connected in a car/ truck and is only meant to be operated on the countertop and connected to the appropriate outlet. It can be transported without a problem and used in hotels, hostels and pretty much anywhere else where you can plug it to the outlet to warm up your food. We hope this information proves helpful, and if you have any other questions, please reach out to us directly via our official CrockPot website's "Contact Us" page or through LiveChat. Q: How long does it take to heat up food from the refrigerator?
A: Hello! Thanks for reaching out to us! We will be more than happy to answer your question! Your Lunch Crock Food Warmer is not meant to warm foods rapidly. Heat times will vary depending on the type of food being warmed and the starting temperature of the food. Stirring will help to speed up the time it takes to heat the food. The food container lid and outer lid do not need to be secured while the unit is heating and warming the food, but is recommended to avoid spilling and to ensure the quickest heating time. If you have any more questions or issues, please reach out to us directly via our official CrockPot "Contact Us" website or through LiveChat and we will be happy to provide you with all the help you may need. We’re available Mon.-Fri. 9am -5pm Eastern Time. Thank you and please stay safe! CrockPot Consumer Care
