Stops sunburn better than sunscreen lotion
Excellent, pretty durable - have gone through about 6 of these in the past 3 yrs, worn by 1-2 horses per season -- The regular (short) masks do last longer, averaging 2-4 seasons per mask. Our horses all prefer them without ears, even if they are bothered by "ear gnats", they prefer a dab of Swat ointment to the fabric ears. Each long mask normally lasts at least 1 season, often 2, but occasionally the binding is ripped away within 3wks at that point, the mesh frays quickly. On the horse size, and less so on the draft size, the nose is quite long compared to the fit of the rest of the mask, at least in this herd. Horses with 'studdy' jaws and short heads will have minimal velcro to close yet the nose will hang past the nostrils by at least an inch. Everyone asks about visibility, but think visibility is not significantly restricted by Cashel masks. Moisture from breathing tends to collect a circle of dirt at each nostril, especially if there's a drought or if turn-out is on sparse grass or dirt-lot, so a quick hosing when removed at sunset is almost always indicated.

Perfect!
The flies this year have been exceptionally bad, but these “full coverage” masks made my horses’ lives a lot more enjoyable.

Nice lightweight mask!
This is a nice mask - it doesn’t seem as heavy as some others on the market so it’s not as hot for the horse. It is well made and has UV protection. I wish the nose was a tad longer but it’s still an awesome mask.

Fits well!
I bought this fly mask, so I wouldn’t have to worry about my horse’s nose getting sunburned. It covers the tip of his nose perfectly without dragging on the ground as he grazes. I like the forelock hole. I can’t rate the durability because he hasn’t worn it all summer.

Fly masks, cashel
I buy these all the time. Both girls wear them and like them. They dont take them off, I like the idea that they have a hole for forelock, my girls seem to also. There well made and I usually get several years out of them. Considering I live in Arizon that's really good, because they where them almost all year, 24/7. Mine are the long nose ones Thanks!! Definitely would recommend them.

Excellent protection & tough
I've had these nearly 6 weeks. My horses wear them daily from 6:30 am until dusk. The masks are durable, soft, seem comfortable, do not leave rub marks, length is long enough to prevent sunburn without interfering with eating and drinking. The horse size fits my 1200lb 16.3 hh gelding perfectly. They stay on. My 17.1 hh Arab gelding would not keep a fly mask on. He has only slipped this one once. The fence charger was accidentally turned off and he got the mask stuck in the barbed wire when he attempted to reach under for grass. (He's on the Jenny Craig lot). By the way, the barbed wire didn't tear up the mask, it has a small pea size hole. He is very tall but half Egyptian Arabian and the Arab fits him perfectly. My small Arab mare also wears the Arab size. Sizes are TRUE. They wash in the washing machine. I dried them on a 20-minute cycle and hung them up to finish drying. Best Mask ever!

Great Fly Mask so far
Bought this for a pink nosed pony who needs some cover to protect from the sun. A little long for his Shetland head, but doesn’t get in the way of eating, just gets a little dirty. Does it’s job and should hold up like all the other Cashel masks do.

Best fly mask available.
I use these masks for my paint gelding with lots of pink skin on his face. This fly mask never rubs him raw, always stays on, and he loves wearing it. I will always use this one on him as he can wear it for days on end, in the Florida sun, and never gets sunburned.

Stays on!
Got this for my white and mottled POA to keep the sun burn on his face and nose to a minimum. It is working out great and I am so happy I finally found a flymask that he will keep on!

A really sturdy fly mask. No rips, and my horse has lost it in the field.

Mask with good coverage
Love the long nose, it prevents sunburn on the nose without using sunscreen. No ears makes it a little cooler. Light color also keeps the heat down. This masks stays put and so far herdmates haven't managed to pull it off

Protects the nose!
I buy this fly mask specifically for my white nose horse. He sunburns easily and the long nose on this mask protects the nose. The nose area does get dirty due to his eating, but, running it under the hose cleans it up nicely for next day use.

Very sturdy
I have 5 of these masks. They are the sturdiest and comfortable for my horses. This last one was the Arab size and I feel it fits most the horses best. The regular long is an inch too long for even my horse with a very large head. These masks last for years.

Nice Fit!
I bought this fly mask brand as a replacement for a brand I loved. SmartPak didn’t have my brand in stock. So I gave this mask a try. I really like the fit.

Very durable
This is a great mask with lots of coverage. Only downside is that the regular horse size is a tad bit small around the chin. The velcro barely fits, but it stays in place, unless one of the other goofballs tries to take it off.

Great fit
I have four of thee masks and they fit different shapes well. Plenty of room around eyes. Soft and absorbant around ears for comfort. Covers Coulter face and sides.
