Lovin' it!
We have been using this mostly for shaved ice so far. It is so cool, as fam members all like it differently. The little ones enjoy watching it change as they turn the dial. We are really looking forward to some of the recipes!

Not worth the effort
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to like this one so much — the idea is great, the execution isnt quite there. It’s a lot of work and didnt quite work right. I ended up with cold water in the middle and minimal slush to my liquid. I had to find a way to remove the water from the middle so I could refill with ice and salt to get it cold enough to actually make the slush. Once that happened, it was decent. It’s a pain to set up and a pain to clean. Super loud too. I think my husband’s texts sum it up pretty well… It’s fine if it’s your only option but I don’t think it’s worth the effort.

Please follow the tips below to ensure that you are able to get the best texture. • Use a mixture with at least 10% sugar content • Chill the mixture for at least 2 hours • Low-sugar or warm mixtures will not freeze properly. For best results, always start with a well-chilled mixture with a high sugar content, like fruit juice or colas. • Never fill the Slushy Container above the Max Fill Line (32 ounces). • Do not add liquor to the Slushy Container. While this appliance can make alcoholic drinks, the appliance can only freeze wine-based drinks to a proper slushy consistency. For liquor-based drinks like frozen margaritas, it will be necessary to add the liquor to each serving glass AFTER the mixture has been slushed. • Make sure to have enough ice cubes to fill the Ice Canister completely (leaving 1 inch from the Rim) for each batch you want to make. • Also make sure you have enough salt on hand, about 6 ounces of salt (7 Ice/Salt Inlet Caps) per batch. Makes great frozen drinks but a bit complicated
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This slushy maker works well, as long as you follow the directions. Thi inner metal piece really needs to stay in the freezer for a day or two to be cold enough to freeze the drinks. I found it a bit tedious to do all of the required steps and it was somewhat difficult to follow the directions. I would suggest setting some time aside for that. Once i got it figured out it worked perfectly and the slushy came out great.

Compact, practical and perfect for preparing delic
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the Dash Slushy & Frozen Drink Maker for its compact and beautiful design, since it does not take up much space in the kitchen and looks very modern. The noise and sound during use are quite moderate, not annoying at all, and works efficiently by preparing frozen drinks and slushies with a soft and delicious texture in a short time. In addition, its energy consumption seemed reasonable to me for the performance it offers, being a practical and fun option for preparing cold drinks at home.

Quick and easy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t know anything about a slushy maker, but this product made it easy to learn. It is a plug and play style assembly. It’s very light and easy to pull about to clean. The slushy take a while to make (about 20-25 mins), but it dispenses fast and the slushy was delicious. I can’t wait to try more recipes.

First dash product and so far so good

It's easy to assemble and set up. It performed ok and I love my blender better. I do like this brand dash and it's reliable.

Great novelty item for parties
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try this but found the instructions a little complicated. I wish there was a link to a video to help assemble and use it for the first time because there are not enough photos to describe how to use it. I can definitely see myself using this in the summer time for parties but find it to bulky for regular use. It was very easy to clean and disassembles well. The slush wasn’t super slushy but I think it’s because I didn’t let it go for as long as it needed. I stopped when the peaks started to form per the manual but think it needs to go longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this for my honest review. This was great! Everything tasted wonderful, and I can’t wait to make more dozen goodies in the summer. It was easy to control and put together. Cleaning was not that hard either. Putting in all the ingredients was time consuming! Ice, salt, the mix, and you had to watch it constantly. Twenty minutes later the slushy is ready. Other than that part it would be perfect.

You will definitely need more ice than it suggests you use because it didn’t come out slushy at all. It all melted too quickly but we had very cold margaritas. It was very easy to clean and set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is slushy frozen drink maker was OK not the greatest but OK. It was easy to clean and assemble. The design is pretty cool. It does make some kind of noise as you can see in the video and it did take about 25 to 30 minutes overall it’s three stars for me but my kids love the slushy. I would say I can probably give you 2 to 3 servings depending what size of cup I guess.

One thing that i think helps it work better is to freeze the canister for a bit before you use it. It’s pretty easy to clean because all the parts come apart. I made a coke slushy and it worked really well! definitely recommend

Decently User Friendly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try out this slushy machine priced at $100. Me and my sister first tried it out by making iced coffees. After we put in the ice, salt, and water into the chamber and we poured our coffee into the other part we turned it on and it ran okay for a few minutes. After a little bit it did get stuck and we followed the directions and flipped the button to allow it to spin “dispense”. It said to click between the buttons until it got loose but wouldn’t so we just left it spin on dispense mode. After maybe 10 minutes or so the slush coffee was finished and we dispensed it out into our cups! We will continue to play around with this slushy maker and try different drinks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] -Was loud and made a squealing sound. -Requires a lot of forethought and planning ahead to be able to make this. It claims it takes 25 mins, but in reality it was easily close to on hour with prepping and getting ice and salt ready. -instructions are VERY wordy for such simple tasks. They were hard to follow and honestly don’t make sense. -Final product was good and had great consistency -Too much effort for two small drinks! Not something that could be used at a party or for a social gathering

If you are looking for a decent slushie maker this is definitely worth the buy, very easy to use and assemble only talking ten minutes to get a real slushie consistency. It holds a decent amount.
