This Spring my horse came down with Thrush. I grabbed a bucket, filled it 1/3 with some water and poured in some Iodine. Soaked her hoof for about 10 minutes and put her meds/boot on it. I definitely think it attributed to her hoof getting healthy again. The price is also much better than at the local feed stores!

Seems good for cat wounds!
I bought this to treat a friendly stray cat. I saw that she has a small wound on her arm that was initally scabbing over and healing, but she kept licking so it reopen and wouldn't fully heal. I Googled what I could do that is safe to treat animal wounds, and iodine was suggested multiple times. So I went to look for a inexpensive one I could get near me and I saw this at Target. I was able to clean her wound and treat it with this as well as place a band aid around it to prevent her from licking it. I clean and change it when I can and her wound has been doing a lot better and almost completely healed now. I'm sure it would do well for wounds on a person as well hahaha I definitely recommend!

Must have antiseptic
I ditched the neosporin when my 4 week old surgery wound was still wet and developed contact dermatitis. This helped dry out the surface of the incision and keep it clean. The bottle cap needs improvement. After each use iodine would leak out of the base of the cap when it returned to the upright position.

The only thing i disliked was the fact the bottle leaked everywhere. It would sit up right and just start leaking. I wish they would do better on the packaging of thjs product half of it went to waste. Definatly have to put it in a new container
