Don't buy
Really bad tape. It shreds, rips, and tears when you try to pull it off the roll. It doesn't stick well to cardboard. You have to use a lot. The ends lift off the cardboard and you have to double tape the tape ends to keep them down. 3M Scotch used to be the gold standard for tape, I can't believe they produced this and put it in stores. It's defective and a huge waste of money.

Thinner
Used to be the best but now the tape is getting thinner and harder to handle as it breaks more easily. Also with 34 yards per roll, it’s 30% less tape than if you buy 54 yard packs on Amazon. This pack ran out very quickly during by our move.

This tape wouldn’t stick to my box at all.
Not sure if I just got a faulty batch because the tape didn’t work at all, wouldn’t even stick to the box, much less keep it closed.

The best
This is the best packaging tape available on the market anywhere, and I'm including the stuff you can buy at U-Haul. Doesn't twist or get messed up, strong and easy to cut. I use to package things up and it never lets me down. Costs a little more, but worth it.

Not the stickiest tape which I’m surprised because it says heavy duty. The tape itself is very thick. Thinner tape is better. I taped it to a box and the next day it was coming off.

No adhesiveness
This brand has really dropped the ball recently. This is the third type of packing tape I've bought from Scotch and all of them are cheap crap, but they're charging more and more. Capitalism at it's finest, I guess. Two stars because it doesn't rip as easy as their standard tape but you still end up using extra layer just to get the thing to stick.
