half the shells were broken out of the box, the other half broke as soon as i tried to put them into the taco holder to eat them or completely disintegrated as soon as i took one bite and left the rest of the taco all over the plate. absolute trash. don't waste your money.

Next time, just buy tostadas
Flavor is great, classic as always. But 9 of 12 were broken at bottom bend or in multiple places. I appreciate the eco-friendly lack of plastic support tray, but the bag with only a waxboard wedge is not working well enough. We’ll eat the rest as nachos.

We have eaten Ortega Taco Shells for years. What has happened to them? They've shrunk first of all, they get soggy quickly and have lost their flavor. Done with these.

Got 2 boxes and every single shell was broken in half. These used to be the best brand taco shell and they just aren't anymore you get broken, stale shells go with a different brand

"New Look" is the worst
i bought the new version back in July and still had a few of the older version left. Took a pic to show the difference. The top is the older version and the bottom is the newer one. SO much smaller. Much narrower too, so it's impossible to put any fillings in. I've bought the New ones a few times since then, hoping the first time where almost all of them came broken was just a fluke. Nope. Every single package I've bought of the New version has come like this. Will never buy these again. Unfortunately the major competitor followed suit and made THEIR shells much smaller and narrower, so now I'm on the hunt for a replacement...

Smaller shells!
They have changed for the worse. They are a lot smaller & the packaging is terrible for the same price…no thank you. I always get broken shells. Will never buy these again & I do not recommend these to anyone.
