Amazingly Delicious! Healthy! Perfect!
This product is absolutely fantastic!! It’s delicious, fluffy, nutritious and amazing! The texture is perfect! I personally dump it into a skillet with a little water as directed (or apple juice) and butter. I add organic veggies, organic diced apples, organic turkey and currants. Gently stir continuously on simmer. It’s quick, healthy and soooo delicious! My family absolutely loves it! Thank you Seeds of Change!! 😃

Impulse by turned out really well for me.
This is a very nice product. Can be eaten alone with a little butter or olive oil or other flavors maybe tomatoes added it is mild the garlic is very light I would describe it as a gentle pleasant food very nice to eat. I like it the way it is straight out of the pan I cooked it on on the stove. But it’s also such a gentle food with nice texture that a person could add a lot of other things to it. I’m glad I found this product by accident I usually cook everything from scratch myself but I will buy this again because I like it and it’s quick and easy. Thank you for making these nice products. Sincerely Leslie I’m 80 years old and I’m so glad to be able to buy products like this. Good food will help me live longer to eat more of it. 🤗💚

Tastes like old musty carpet in a retirement home.

Great Stuffed Peppers!
We love this as a stuffed peppers recipe! We add browned ground beef, diced cooked onion, garlic, and an egg to red peppers! Cover with marinara, top with Parmigiano and bake till bubbly!

The Stench
Nevermind the mediocre taste, the smell is so intensely horrible I had to throw out the remaining rice that I had meant to store. I suppose it was the garlic? This was not expired- actually a year until then, but I did microwave it so maybe a skillet would work better? Anyways, I would strongly recommend not buying this pre-cooked rice product thing.

We loved the quinoa brown rice and garlic. It was delicious. I prepared it with peas and bone broth in a skillet. I will definitely enjoy this quinoa and try other Seeds of Change product. I read Seeds of Change has a great mission to feed the less fortunate .. what a great company.

Loved it but it’s changed.
I’ve been eating this product for years and it’s been very good. Unfortunately, something has changed. It just doesn’t have the same taste or flavor. I would also wish they would cut the sunflower oil out completely.

Garlic flavor is too strong
This flavor tastes very strange, tbh. I tried to use it as a base for Chinese style stir fry and the fake garlic flavor was extremely overpowering. I couldn't stand eating other flavors like teriyaki or cilantro in combination with it. It should probably taste okay when served alongside Western type dishes or dishes without sweet flavors. I think personally that the heavy garlic flavor is unnecessary. As for how to prepare it, I know you can cook it in the microwave (I don't like cooking with the microwave myself) but I just put it in my regular rice cooker with a bit more water than the package recommends and it cooked well that way.

Tasty product, but leverages people's ignorance
I have no problem with the quality of the product; it's actually quite good. I do however take issue with the "NON GMO Project VERIFIED" graphic on the package. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS GMO RICE. Or quinoa for that matter. But Seeds of Change (i.e., YOU) are paying a fee to use that graphic. Of course, Seeds of Change isn't alone; the non-gmo label can be found on lots of things where a GMO option doesn't exist; tomatoes, popcorn, and even salt (?!!) BTW - "Organic" likely doesn't mean what most people think it does, either. Organic foods are NOT pesticide-free, or healthier. Organic farming is a marketing ploy that exploits the appeal to nature fallacy.

Yummy! But is it healthy?
Brown rice and quinoa both contain levels of arsenic, which is obviously very bad for health. Alas, this is true for organic rice, too. After doing research, I have learned that the lowest arsenic levels can be found in both white and brown rice from California, India, Pakistan, and sushi rice from US. Avoid rice from Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas. Seeds of Change is based in Chicago, but the consumer doesn't know where they are sourcing their grains from. It is yummy, and convenient. I take it out of the packet, and it heats up in the microwave quickly. White rice, of course, spikes blood sugar, yet has less arsenic. So what to do? Apparently cooking from scratch and rinsing a lot helps lower the arsenic level; the arsenic is in the hull of the brown rice. But what if we want both convenience combined with healthy nutrition? I don't want to give up the convenience, so I will likely eat very small amounts at any one time: about 1/4 cup, no more than once a week.

But it tastes very good though!
I won't give the product 5⭐️ because you have to cook it for 6-8 minutes - not for the 90 seconds they say. But it tastes very good though!

Organic rice and quinoa mix: healthy and tasty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried this organic rice and quinoa mix and I'm really happy with it. It's a great size for two people and has a nice garlic flavor. The mix is not too high in calories, which I appreciate. I found that it pairs well with a lot of different meals, making it a versatile choice for my kitchen. Each pack is just right for one meal, so there's no waste. I like that it's a healthier side dish option. It's full of natural proteins, which is great for my diet. The best part is that it's organic, so I feel good about eating it. It's nice to have a quick and easy option that is also good for me.

Gone bad
We just bought 2 packets and tried one out. It smelt like fermented food and was hardly palatable. I had to throw it away. Maybe just a bad packet but it was disappointing.
