fire hazard
Be careful- 1st use and ours had a very annoying clicking sound. When we lifted out the food, the base was bulging. After some research we saw this could be a fire hazard so we promptly returned it.

Disappointed!
My first use and it doesn't work. I had it on high cooking for 4 hours, and the food was not even hot. I tried the low setting, and it got hotter than being on high. The food did not cook probably so I had to cook the food for several more hours than it should have took, which made the food horrible. * Returning * for a basic model because these newer, digital items, don't work.

Hello, We’re sorry to hear about your experience with the Crock-Pot 6qt Cook & Carry One Touch Programmable Slow Cooker and understand how frustrating it is when the cooking temperatures do not perform as expected. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you may try: 1. Check outlet power: Ensure the unit is plugged directly into a working wall outlet (avoid extension cords). 2. Proper lid placement: Make sure the lid is fully seated to help maintain consistent heat. 3. Correct fill level: Fill between half and two-thirds full for best heat circulation. 4. Test empty heat cycle: Run the unit with water to see if temperature behavior is consistent across settings. If the issue continues after trying these steps, please contact us via our official website so we can assist you further. We’re happy to help you and assist you further. We’re available Mon.-Fri. 9am -5pm Eastern Time. Thank you and have a great day! Crock-Pot Consumer Care

Doesnt Heat Up
I have used my new crockpot 4 times. I work 12hrs a day and this is the only way my husband and I can have a meal walking in from work after 7pm without waiting for something to cook. The 1st two meals, no issues. The third, it never cooked, my husband had me convinced that I didnt set the timer right so I didnt think nothing about it, lost a pork loin that dinner. The 4th time I lost stew meat. I took a picture and sent it to him when I left for work and when I got home it was like I never turned it on. 2 dinners lost, didnt even get a month out of it. Threw away the receipt, out of groceries and a crock pot.

Hello Harley, We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and the frustration this has caused, especially after losing multiple meals and relying on the slow cooker after long workdays. Based on what you described, it’s possible the unit may not be maintaining power or completing the cooking cycle properly. As a quick check, we recommend: - Ensuring the unit is securely plugged in and the outlet is working properly - Confirming the timer and cooking settings are fully selected and started - Checking that the power indicator light turns on when the unit is set Even without a proof of purchase, we’d still like the opportunity to assist you. Please contact us through our website so our team can review your case and find the best solution. https://www.crock-pot.com/support/contact-us We’re available Mon.-Fri. 9 am -5 pm Eastern Time. Worst Countertop Appliance EVER! Don’t buy this.
We received this as a gift. I was so excited to have a new fancy crockpot! We put a 2.5lbs corned beef into this stupid thing over 5 hours ago (on high) and it’s still not done!!! We’ve given up and switched to the stovetop method because I’m hungry and refuse to wait another 3 hours to eat. I’ve had my fair share of crockpots in my life but this thing is GARBAGE! What a bummer. If I could leave ZERO stars I would!!!

Cracked Pot Retaining Water
Water is accumulating under the lid handle AND the crock appears to be cracking....that's why I bought this one, my last CrockPot cracked about 1 inch up from the bottom. exactly where this one appears to be breaking. I've used and washed this cracked pot TWICE. I have only washed it by hand and limited moving it for fear it will break completely. so disappointed in the quality.

Hello. Thank you for sharing your experience with the Crock-Pot 6qt Cook & Carry One Touch Programmable Slow Cooker. We’re very sorry to hear that it stopped working after only four months, that’s understandably disappointing. You may want to try a few quick checks: - Plug the slow cooker directly into a different wall outlet (not a power strip) to rule out a power issue. - Ensure the stoneware insert is properly seated inside the heating base. - Check that the lid is securely in place and that the display responds when buttons are firmly pressed. Even if the retailer’s return window has closed, the Crock-Pot 6qt Cook & Carry One Touch Programmable Slow Cooker is covered by a 1 Year limited warranty. If the issue persists, please reach out to us via our Contact Us form on our website. We’re available Mon.-Fri. 9am - 5pm Eastern Time. Thank you! Crockpot® Consumer Care

Good overall crockpot.
I like this crockpot. It heats up quickly and lid is tight. The only dislike is the outside metal gets extremely hot and kids can burn their hands. Make sure it is out of their reach.
