I was actually nervous about buying this because looking at the beaters are they gonna hold up but used to today was really surprised at how easy it broke through sticks of butter and it wasn't like the butter was softened. I really like this and the price was right.

It does a great job. With little or no clean up and because I have movement issues this is great. I highly recommend this hand mixer to anyone wanting something that is lite and easy to use.

Low motor performance

Good for everything except bread
My hand mixer has operated well for 6 years. The only problem I ever had was trying to mix bread dough. It strained a lot, so didn’t use it for that afterwards.

Best All Around Mixer Money Can Buy!
The 5 speed Kitchen Aid Hand Mixer is the BEST all around mixer that money can buy! I can do anything with this mixer that I can do with my KA stand mixer, but with less hassle and no clutter on my counter top. It’s handy and can be used for any cooking or baking that requires a mixer. I even make yeast bread dough with it using the dough hooks from my old KA hand mixer and IMHO it kneads bread dough better than the stand mixer does, and I’ve been making all of our bread for the last 7 years. If you need a good, dependable, handy mixer get this one, you won’t be disappointed.
