Noodles are fine with 2 minutes of cooking. Texture is just like regular cooked pasta, taste sucks. Salty, not cheesy at all, and leaves both a weird aftertaste and slimy feeling in mouth... Overall not worth it... just buy a different brand or the regular boxed white cheddar one :)

Followed the instructions exactly and the cup overflowed, the pasta was still hard, and it was slimy and gross. Had to throw all of this very expensive Mac and cheese away. A real heart breaker. And we LOVE their boxed version. Just get those and don’t take this shortcut.

It's Terrible Now, Somethings Changed
I've purchases this for years and it was a great little snack. The last several times I bought it, it was disgusting and non-edible. You could not mix it well enough to get rid of the glutinous texture, the cheese tasted metallic, and overall taste was terrible. I tried mixing it with more water, less water, mixed the packet in thoroughly and still couldn't get rid of lumps and the cheese did not mix into the pasta. I always liked this especially being organic. I will never purchase this product again. Target was great to refund the full purchase price with no hassle.

I bought these in August and they were good. I recently bought some again and whatever that gunk is that the pasta cooks in, ends up a gross slimey substance. Adding the cheese mixture did not help. Did not taste right and the consistency is gross.

Not sure where all these bad reviews are coming from I love this Mac and cheese. Compared to the Kraft microwave cups I think these have a wayyyyy better cheese flavor. I will say the cup does tend to overflow but I just take it out halfway and stir it and I’ll put it in for an extra 30 seconds! This is the best microwave mac n cheese cup!!!!

The flavor is alright but no matter how long you microwave it or add correct proportions, you will end up with hard chunks. You can buy better quick Mac and cheeses for cheaper.
