Coffee that tastes like COFFEE, GOOD COFFEE!

Delicious! Most coffee is roasted way too dark for me. Even medium roasts can be too much. This coffee tastes like coffee! Not like burnt something. The beans smell heavenly and turn out a fantastic cup of coffee.

Great batch - as complex as a single origin

Intelligentsia continues to be the best "large" roaster in the US. Their blends are as good as more complex single origins, and they are our daily coffee.

If you like light roast coffee and the bright fruit flavors that come with it, buy a bag to try. This is my favorite coffee from box stores. If you like your earthy coffee don't get this.

Zero Taste, Weird Look, High Price

This is the single most worst coffee I have ever purchased. Starbucks' burned coffee is better even because at least it has flavor. This tastes like the equivalent of soul-sucked moistened cardboard. Plusz it looks so weird when grinded and used. So disappointed by this.

Disgusting rip off

Bought this because target has a very minimal selection of whole beans. The worst coffee I’ve ever purchased. These beans almost broke out high end and very expensive grinder, even with adjustments made to the grind. As for the taste, horrible. Maybe if you don’t actually like the taste of coffee this would be good for you, it was so thin and so watery. I usually buy light roasts but this is the lightest I’ve ever tried and not in a good way, there was so indication of the roast type on the packaging. I worked in a cafe for 6 years and while I’m not a coffee snob I know a lot about coffee and man oh man this is not it. Also the price for a half bag of the worst coffee beans I’ve ever used is bonkers. We dumped out coffee and threw all of the beans away after 2 sips. Happy for the people that liked it tho.

Bitter to the end!

As a coffee addict, I look for qualities that I will enjoy as I grind and brew my beans. Though, this coffee is not enjoyable at any time, manner or process. The coffee was extremely bitter to the point that I could not drink an entire cup. Pass on this one.

Excellent and consistent quality coffee beans

This is a really wonderful coffee and the one my family drinks most of the year.. We switch it up and buy other brands like Stumptown single origin, but we keep Intelligentsia House and Frequency blends in our regular rotation. I DO wish Target would sell bags with newer Roasted On dates, but even Whole Foods sells bags that were roasted 1 or 2 months ago.

Bad French press

My husband and I been trying a lot of new coffees over the last year and this was one of the worst. As a french press it came out sour, astringent, and just deeply unpleasant. Maybe it's better in a different grind or preparation, but this one wasn't for us. We reluctantly finished the bag as quickly as we could only because we didn't want to be wasteful.
