Every mascara, cheap or expensive, flakes off and leaves dark smudges under my eyes before the end of the day, except this one. I’m sure it’s the prime. I love having the two products in one. I keep a minimalist makeup bag.

Not a fan. Irritates my eyes with the first step and then the actual mascara. It does transfer. I was wanting to try something different- I use the tubing mascara from loteal and love it. I will stick with that one as I always do. I will give it 2 stars for adding volume and I did like the concave wand.

Terrible
I bought this mascara hoping that it would be as good as it said in the ads. Sadly, it is not! I am an older woman so I was looking for the volumizing effect that it professes to have. It was no better than the other mascaras I have purchased. However, it did not go on without clumping and then when I tried to get it off that night, some of my eye lashes fell out!!! I used both a very good mascara remover and then just tried water. Neither really worked and as I said, I lost some of my eyelashes!!!

Giving this product 4 out of 5 stars because the primer is GREAT! I am glad to have found a product that holds my curl. My only complaint is that the primer is WHITE and not black. Loreal used to have a similar product with purple tubes and the primer was black making for your lashes to look that color. The white primer makes my eyelashes more of a gray than a black. If the primer was black, product would receive 5/5 stars.

BRING BACK THE PURPLE TUBE!!!!!!!!!! I have used the purple forever and now Im left with this one. WHY WHY WHY! I just want to cry right now! This seems like a bad business decision when there isn't any other product that made my lashes so beautiful without fake lashes.

Ever since they discontinued the purple two step mascara that had black on both ends it took me forever to find a mascara i loved. This one just gives me the volume and length i have missed since the last mascara!

Please bring back the waterproof version with the black primer. The white is too hard to cover up and it contrasts with my dark skin making I look like I have lint on my lashes. Please I’m begging you, this was the best mascara ever!!!

Dry and clumpy
I thought I’d give this a try since the double extended beauty was sold out. It had to be just as good, right? Wrong. I wore it a few days ago for the first time and it was ok. The primer and the mascara itself dried quickly and had clumps putting it on that I couldn’t comb out. On the second day, it was worse but I still went with it so I wouldn’t be late for work. Big mistake. On the drive to work I felt something in my eye. It was okay by the time I got to the office. An hour later my eye was bothering me constantly. I went to the bathroom to clean off my contact and when I pulled it out, there were some bits of mascara on it, this has never happened before. After cleaning off the lens and getting back into my eye, I noticed the mascara had smeared on my upper eyelid. Seriously? I still had the whole day left and had to rub off the black lash marks. Very disappointed, not sure if it was a bad batch but that was $11.29 literally thrown in the trash when I got home. I didn’t have this issue with the double extend beauty. Hopefully that isn’t sold out still when I got back to the store.

I've used the original Xfiber for years. I tried this new one and it's awful. It smudges so bad and did nothing for length or volume. So disappointed that you discontinued the original

Not NEARLY as good as the OG xfiber. The primer is goopy, the mascara is clumpy. It’s the worst.

Bring back the Purple Tube!
I have been using the waterproof purple tube voluminous mascara for years. Loved it! Why was it changed to a white primer?! Awful. It takes so many coats of tube 2 to cover the white primer in tube 1. After the disappointing results from this new product, I decided to try L'oreal Voluminous Original Waterproof Mascara. That product is even Worse! Clumpy, smudgy and certainly not waterproof. I will be looking towards another cosmetic company waterproof mascara. So disappointed.

Horrible
I have been a loyal customer using red and white tube. Saw this wanted to try cause of wand thought it would be the same. It’s not. Smudging bad and makes my eyes water and burn. Very disappointing going back to the red and white tube at least it doesn’t smudge and burn. Sorry but very disappointed in the trash it goes money not well spent

Terrible white primer
Have been using in the black primer purple tube for years. The eyelashes are long and beautiful. I don't understand why they discontinued black primer in the purple cover which was even better as white primer takes more work to cover up and requires more layers.

Worst one made thus far!!!
This new formula is the worst. Iv been wearing L’Oreal’s Voluminous X-Fiber for years which keep in mind it took me years to find the right mascara which I found in the original formula and now it’s discontinued. Welp, I guess I’m discontinuing this company altogether because to be honest, this was the best mascara your company had hands down! If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! I could see adding on to the collection but obviously from the reviews, this new crap IS NOT IT!!!!
