  • A: You do not need to cure it prior to the first use, however, it's a good idea to wash, dry with a towel and lightly oil it before cooking.

  • A: Does not have any synthetic nonstick coatings or chemicals. It is covered with flaxseed oil and seasoned at high temperatures. With proper use and care, it becomes naturally nonstick.

Q: Hi , Is it safe to use on Glasstop Electric induction Stove?

  • A: Yes, just remember to never slide cast iron cookware on top of glasstops to avoid scratching. Just place gently on top, and then pick it up, without any back-and-forth movement.

A beautifully constructed griddle

When I received the pan, it’s handle was sticking outside of the box. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me. The pan itself was beautiful. I was expected raise edges around the rim however it was more flat. I can’t wait to use it.

This Comal Griddle is my absolute favorite!!!

Perfect for Crepes and Dosa. Love how non-stick it can be. The surface is more smoother than most of the other Griddle Pans that i have seen and the shallow pan makes it easy for us to slid the tuner. I have the Lodge 12 inch skillet and a couple of 8 inch griddles for different uses but I love Victoria 8 and 10 inch Skillet for it superior craftmenship and how they have smooth the surface is. This Comal Griddle is my absolute favorite!!! I wish they made the same Comal Griddle in 12 inches-

Tortilla plata

My daughter saw my plata pan (griddle pan) and wanted mine. I hunted everywhere for this. Target was the only store so far that I could purchase it online. It's a nice size and would probably only be used for tortillas.

Victoria Preseasoned Caste Iron Skillet--Great

This makes pan the best Swedish Pancakes ( French Crepes). It is easy to use. Last year for Christmas I bought my 5 children this pan so they could carry on the tradition of Swedish Pancakes in their home!
