A: Spots on the tablet may indicate that the tablet has come into contact with moisture which is reacting with certain nutrients in the tablet such as Vitamin C and/or iron, which are more susceptible to this reaction. To minimize this reaction, it may be helpful to store the tablets in a relatively dry area by following the storage information on the Supplement Facts label. In addition, it is important to replace the cap tightly after each use. If excess moisture enters the bottle, it could cause spotting. Since a child's weight varies regardless of age, you may want to check with the Target pharmacist or your child's Dr. Both of my children take these vitamins willingly. My older child just takes it and chews it up. My younger child gets hers crushed in her yogurt, applesauce, etc. My children's dentist prefers these over the gummies too. Best of luck.
