  • A: I meant to say detergents use HIGHER concentrations of Benzisothiazolinone than Methylisothiazolinone, therefore BIT does not rinse out as much as MIT does, which leaves behind more irritant.

  • A: This one is safe, however, not all of the All Free & Clear line is free of methylisothiazolinone but does contain benzisothiazolinone. I accidentally bought Free & Clear "Odor Relief" and have been itching for weeks - just only realized that it could be my detergent! I checked and yes - ALL of the other formulas of Free & Clear contain it, so be careful! The "pure" "oxi" & "clean & care" all do!

    My daughter has very sensitive skin, so I am always extremely careful about the laundry detergent we use for our kids’ clothes. all Free clear has been amazing!     Disappointing customer service

    I ordered this soap online, and when it arrived the box was soaking wet because the soap had leaked everywhere. I contacted customer service to resolve the issue, but what should have been a simple fix turned into a frustrating experience. The representative kept repeating that I had to return the item to receive a replacement. What they failed to understand, despite my explaining it multiple times was that I was never refusing to return the item. I was asking for clarification and reassurance before going through the return process. The soap was purchased using promotions, and based on my previous experiences when I return an item, I am refunded only the amount I actually paid after the discounts. No one could guarantee that I would be able to repurchase the soap at the same promotional price or that the store would simply exchange the damaged product for a new one. In fact, the store normally does not offer a straightforward swap in these situations. All I wanted was confirmation that I would not end up losing my promotional savings or having to pay more to replace a product that arrived damaged through no fault of my own. I also wanted to know whether I could exchange it in person before making an almost hour long drive to the store. The entire reason I ordered online was to avoid that inconvenience in the first place. If I have to drive nearly an hour to resolve a shipping issue, I should at least be able to confirm beforehand that the problem will actually be resolved. What frustrated me most was the lack of listening and understanding. The representative continued repeating the same scripted response instead of addressing my actual concern. It felt like talking to a machine rather than someone who was willing to help. I understand that companies have return policies, but customer service should involve more than repeating a policy. It should mean listening to the customer, understanding the circumstances, and providing clear answers. I received a damaged product, and instead of making things right the company made the resolution unnecessarily complicated. I shouldn’t have to risk losing my promotional discount or waste nearly two hours driving back and forth just to replace something that arrived leaking. A little understanding, clear communication, and a reasonable solution would have made all the difference.

    Great for eczema-prone skin

    My son used to have recurring eczema flare-ups, so after doing some research and talking with friends, I switched all of his products to fragrance-free options, including this detergent.
