This is my 3rd semi round can. All 3 different finishes. Exceptional quality. My whole house is filled with Simplehuman.

I had a Simple Human container, but it was showing its age, so I replaced it with this one. Really like the style, and of course it works perfectly!

This is an exceptional bin: the design is sleek and clean and the performance, impeccable. The liners fit precisely and the foot pedal is responsive and allows the lid to close in slow motion, quite delightfully. It seems ludicrous to be this impressed by a trash receptacle, but Simplehuman has designed one worthy of high praise indeed!

This is my second Simplehuman can. I've had my original one for years. I just wish this version had a latch to prop open the lid like my other one. The custom liners work great.

I absolutely love my Simplehuman 45L Semi-Round Step Can with Liner Rim! From the moment I set it up, it felt like such a sleek and well-designed upgrade to my kitchen. The build quality is excellent, the step pedal is smooth and sturdy, and it closes quietly every single time. It really feels like a premium product. My favorite feature is the wide mouth — it makes trash disposal so much easier. No more awkward angles or worrying about missing the opening when scraping plates. Everything goes in quickly and cleanly, which is especially helpful during busy cooking or cleanup times. The liner rim is also fantastic. It keeps the bag neatly tucked away and completely hidden, giving the can a clean, polished look. It’s those small details that make a big difference. My only small complaint is that this model doesn’t include the inside pouch for storing additional trash liners. I recently purchased the two-compartment recycle step can, and the built-in liner pocket in that one makes storage so convenient and streamlined. I do wish this 45L version had that same feature.

My 21 month year old just cut his finger on the lid part bc its not sticking together like the lid should. There’s a section the lid should not be like this where he can slip his finger in

I had the round simplehuman can with a full liner. I enjoyed the design of that one much more. The half round only has a liner rim, so if the there is a leak there will be a mess. I wish you still sold it with a full liner.

I love it, it was a great replacement for the other can I had.

This trash can is pricey but worth it! I love how the bag is tucked under with a separate lid than the one that lifts with the step. The step is sturdy and so far no finger prints are showing. I bought a cheaper can hoping to save some money and the step broke within the first couple weeks, lesson learned. Simplehuman is worth the splurge.

This is the best quality wastebasket we've had. Every part seems built to last. Our last stepcan only last a year. We expect years of service from this one.

This is not my first trash can from them. I never had an issue with the last one. Just replacing the last one because I’m moving and want a new one.

I had my last Simple Human can over 10 years. I love the improvements the company has made since then. They got rid of the insert and now I can put the trash bag directly into the can, instead of the insert and then having to lift the insert into the can. They also upgraded to a slightly larger can. My last can was 40L and my new one is 45L. I am more than pleased with my purchase. I have purchased many products from this company and have been impressed with their quality.

I like the new shape, but miss the plastic insert that I had on the rectangle can I first bought. I’m glad it uses the J bag. My first simple human can lasted about 10 years. I hope this one will last the same
