Staub Cast Iron 0.75-qt Petite French Oven - Graphite Grey

Perfect for travel rice and small batches of boiled eggs. Does not have a PFAS coating like almost every rice cooker on the market. Getting the water and timing right can be hit or miss but I enjoy cooking with .75 and 1.5qt size models. We use this with an induction range for quick heating and super easy cleanup. No issues with rust or damaged enamel like other reviewers have mentioned.

Love the size and the cast iron plus enamel. Makes perfect rice every time and nearly fast as would be when using an electric cooker. I prefer not having to own a separate counter top appliance or worrying about PFA nonstick of a plug in cooker

This is a beautiful pot. I have the larger one as well. I'm finding the small one to be more useful than I expected. Large enough for 2 or 3 servings of quinoa, rice, oatmeal, barley... The contents always turn out super.

Perfect for individual soup or chili servings. I like that every one can decorate their own with different kinds of toppings. You can bake - a cobbler, pan fry - perhaps a mirepoix, roast - a garlic head in this little guy. I have even used it on our BBQ to keep sauce warm and close to the meat.

This pot was recommended to me to use for overnight oatmeal. It works perfectly! the oats soak so nicely then just turn on the heat in the morning...ready to go. Something about using cast iron gives the oatmeal so much rich flavor while maintaining the texture. Hubby gets excited every time he sees the pot he expects there is oatmeal coming.

I like using this pot for rice and bean dishes. It's just the right size for side dishes. I also like to use this pot for reheating soups and stews. It's everything you would expect form a Staub cocotte. Excellence in heating, browning and moisture flow. Great piece for entertaining. The grey is beautiful.

Good for rice and grains. Also heats up soup or queso dip for the kids. The enamel interior cleans up easily. The cast iron retains heat well.

I never thought of this .75qt. petite french oven can do, be more useful than I thought it did after owning one. To my surprise, this is what customer is looking for a rice cooker like me. This small cocotte cooks single serve rice perfectly, oatmeal, use for boiling eggs, and great for soup even deep frying small food portion. Works for al stove top, and oven safe.

I love a french aesthetic in any kitchen and this looks perfect with that! The Staub Petite French oven is a great size for a smaller serving sizes and is perfect for making an amazing pot of rice or risotto. With the Chistera design on the lids, it creates a great self-basting environment inside the petite french, helping cook your risotto thoroughly while also not drying out. A piece that can go from the stove top to oven to table, this is a great piece to have, and the Graphite color looks great too!

Minor imperfections on lip, otherwise adorable little iron pot. Perfect for 1 cup of rice. Add 1.2 cups water or broth. Bring to low boil for 12 min or until the water level recedes. Then cover and simmer for 10 min. Turn of heat and let sit 15 min. Toss and enjoy.

Thick walls maintain constant heat and lid distributes steam evenly for fluffy perfect rice.

I saw this pot in Japan and fell in love with its beautify. I really wanted to get it but wasn't available in the U.S. When I saw this on this website, I ordered two! (a graphite gray and a black one) I was worried if these were too small for my IH range since the minimum pan size would be 5" diameter according to the instruction, but they worked just fine. These pots make perfect 1-cup steamed rice every time. Besides steaming rice, I use these for leftover soup, making polenta, oatmeal, couscous, risotto, udon/soba noodle soup, bibimbap, miso soup, Korean tofu stew (Soon Du Bu Jigae), sauce and baking bread. Great thing about this pot is that you can eat out of this pot on the table. It keeps food hot and no extra dishes needed. Rice doesn't stick to the bottom and it's so easy to clean. I also have a 1.5qt one but I think this little 0.75qt one is the most practical pot for 1-2 person meal. I use these pots every day.
