Q: What's the biggest difference between neosure and 360 total ? Is it safe to have this formula after the first month as I stored up a bit more.

  • A: Neosure is for premature babies & 360 total is for term babies (37+ weeks). There is a different nutritional make-up. Meaning the 360 total would be deficient for a preterm baby, and possibly give a term baby too much or too little of particular nutrients. You can always verify with your pediatrician

    This formula was recommended to be use by our pediatrician as my daughter was born 6 weeks early. She did has issue around 5 week mark with gas but was told that’s normal by our pediatrician. Now almost 4 month she has again an appropriate amount of weight based on her age with this formula. No more gas issue either!!

    Wonderful formula

    My granddaughter was 6 weeks premature. Her pediatrician put her on this formula and she has done so well. She has gained weight on a great schedule and is healthy and happy!

    Reflux issues

    Recommended by hospital pediatrician for my premature twins so that they can gain weight. At first, they did okay and did gain weight but then they started to have really bad reflux after every feeding. Switched to an organic formula due to this.

    Best Formula For Preemies

    My son was a preemie and he loved this formula. It really bulked him up quick and now he's above the 50 percentile. It is really expensive though, but that's the only downside to it.

    Satisfied

    The NICU started my baby on this formula. I wanted to switch to a cheaper competitor, but two pediatricians advised to stick with Similac Neosure because my baby was doing so well on it and doubled his weight! He does seem to have a lot of gas, but I will live with it since we are relieved to hear that has grown so much and went from the 27 percentile to 49 percentile for his age group.

    My baby refused his bottle

    My pediatrician recommended as a fortifier to up my babies calories. I add 2tsp of formula to 5oz of my breast milk. My baby went from drinking 5oz+ breastmilk to taking an hour to finish 2oz of fortified Similac. I just thought our baby didn’t like the taste of formula or he was full. It wasn’t until I purchased Kendamil and my baby drank his whole 5oz bottle in less than 13 minutes! I smelled both containers and Similac smelled so rancid! No wonder my baby didn’t drink his milk.. He was probably starving this entire time 😩

    No thank you!

    My twins were born at 30 weeks gestation, and we were told to feed this formula upon discharge 6 weeks later. For the past 6 weeks I have begged the pediatrician to recommend another formula. My babies scream and cry in pain at every meal. They are gassy, pulling their legs up in pain, throwing up, and severely constipated. The doctor put them on suppositories and ant-acid rather than switch formula. It’s infuriating! Do I recommend? Not a chance! Plus, the formula has floaters. Not sure why!
