    Terrible! Super acidic tasting. If you enjoy acidic coffee with a huge overwhelming taste of lemon then this coffee is for you. Just nasty. Ugh!

    Dont waste your time

    The flavor is unique and not good. I love Starbucks blonde roast it never has that bitter after taste. This just has a horrible flavor and I couldn’t get it to work for me plus the beans right off the bat didn’t smell good should’ve been my first sign.

    Blue Bottle is the absolute best. Periodt.

    Of all the coffee spots I’ve frequented over the years all over the country, Blue Bottle is my absolute favorite, and though I can’t yet get a fresh New Orleans here in Denver, now that target offers BB, I could not be happier! I make drip daily for work and French press on my days off and both the Bright and Bold blends are outstanding. One of the best coffee companies in America. On top of that: working 6 day weeks over 7 months, I have saved over $1,200 at least by NOT buying Starbucks or other expensive coffee drinks daily, even while still going thru 2 bags of BB beans a month.     Great for pour over

    My husband has been making pour over coffee for many years now. He is particular about his craft and has found these beans to be really awesome! We absolutely love the cups he makes from these beans! So smooth, complex, naturally slightly sweet, full of flavor and does not need cream or sweetener of any kind though we add a few drops to bind the tannins to save our stomach. We are so happy to be able to go to the nearby Target to pick up these amazing beans when in the past we have mostly had to order online from specialty bean roasters. This is a great addition to our coffee bean selection. We highly recommend!

    Awful coffee

    I used to really like this brand, and it’s been a few years since I had it last. It is absolutely awful. It tastes a lot like the Krispy Kream bagged coffee you can buy at the store. It’s burnt and abrasive, has a terrible flavor. I made it in my chemex with 30g/500ml which usually always yields great results. Truly awful coffee, don’t waste your money.

    What happened?

    This used to be my favorite bean to buy almost anywhere, and I would buy multiple bags at a time, but the last few bags have been greatly diminished in every way - no body, burnt flavor especially for a light roast, cheap tasting like hotel room coffee. And the coffe is anything but cheap. I’m sad to not have the coffee at its best as an option anymore, and bummed I wasted my money.

    Unique flavor...not for everyone?

    I was not a big fan of this coffee. I tried it out due to all the good reviews, but it is incredibly more acidic than I thought it was going to be. Really strange flavor, I’m used to more dark roast blends. But the “bright” roast and lemon just really threw me off. :(
