Description

The LG LW1217ERSM is not only cool...it's SMART! Cool your home from anywhere using LG ThinQ technology to control your air conditioner with your phone or use with Amazon Alexa and Hey Google to have control with the sound of your voice. This quiet unit is ideal for cooling medium rooms up to 550 sq. ft. The unit has 3 cooling and fan speeds and a 24 hour timer to create a cooling schedule. 4-way air deflection lets the flow of air be directed where it's needed most whether cooling, dehumidifying or just circulating air. If there is a power outage, the auto restart feature will automatically turn your unit back on when power is restored. Other features include a remote control, easy window installation kit, slide-out (washable) filter and a check filter alert.

Doesn't really cool

Purchased first one came cracked as if it was already used. Exchanged it for another one, this one does not cool. My old 8,000 btu Frigidaire ac made my space cold this 12,000 btu ac barely cools it down. Very disappointed with this purchase!!

Runs quiet, great features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this air conditioner on August 9th. It is so much quieter than my old one and it keeps my house cool. I run it on the energy saver mode most of the time, so it cycles on and off periodically and I am sure that it will save me money on my electric bill.

The WiFi feature is totally convenient when I can use the app on my iPhone to turn it on from anywhere.it sure is nice to come home to an air conditioned home.

Quietly makes room comfortable!

Finally got my AC installed! Directions were useless; family members installed it for me but it leaked into the house? I hired a handyman from Angi and he had had experience installing ACs and it's working like a charm! What a blessing in this awful heat and humidity!

Delivers the Goods on all Features!

I am so glad I bought this LG Thin q 12000 BTU window unit. It delivers on all promises. It is actually quiet. It cools more than the recommended square footage. It was easy to install. Everything needed to make installation efficient was in the carton. The filter is easy to access. The remote is effective at 30 feet. Thank you LG, for making an excellent product.

Terrific machine far better than expensive priors

I'm the guy who always tends to spend top dollar on things. This is my second LG replacing units that cost almost twice as much (think German for "Fred"). Much much quieter, flawless operation, feels solid. I'm pretty stunned at the quality/cost ratio here. This is my go-to brand now.
