A: You can operate on the counter top while underneath a wall cabinet but it should not be operated in a wall cabinet (not like a microwave)

Dangerously hot exterior
The toaster oven works well. My complaint is that the top and sides get EXTEEMLY hot, and are not safe to touch while using the oven. If I had children in the house, I would return it. It is not a safe product for the countertop, a home with children, or a home where people may have physical disabilites. Fortunately I can place it on the microwave, and do not have children or other household members who can be harmed with this dangerous design.

Great little toaster oven
This Toaster Oven is perfect for my needs, including toasting, warming leftovers, and sometimes a little baking, especially to avoid turning on the oven in summer. This is my second one of the same; the older one's door that sticks, it doesn't slide out smoothly most of the time. Annoying, but not enough to keep me from buying the same toaster again.

Excellent Toaster Oven!
Great toaster oven! Seems to toast bread evenly and cook/heat food up nicely. We haven't had it very long, so not alot of experience using it at this point. The top of the oven does get very hot; however, I think all toaster ovens tend to do that. Just be careful!

I am so happy with my purchase and I think anyone looking for a toaster oven will love this one! It’s the perfect size for the counter and doesn’t take up so much space. The quality of this oven is great and I wish I would have gotten it sooner!

Burns bottom and that’s very unevenly, would not h
I bought this a couple weeks ago and I’m very disappointed in the performance. Toast is burnt on one said and not toasted in the other. Items I bake burn on the bottom. I have never had a toast over work so poorly for toast and burins the bottom before the top can bake. Wish i could return it. 😖

I didn’t realize how poorly the old one was performing until I got the Cuisinart. It toasts beautifully and is large enough to make almost everything I cook so I don’t have to use the big oven. There are clearer, specific settings for the variety of features which make using it easy. I like the adjustable height for the oven rack, the bell signal when toast is ready and the red light that shows when the appliance is on or off.
