Best oven on the market
My oven is going on 10 years and I have used it almost every day (340 days or more) since I purchased it without ANY problems at all. Ten minutes ago I took out a pecan banana bread from the oven which looks amazingly golden brown. I bake whole chickens, hams, all kinds of pies and I thought of buying another oven but will wait for this one to break some day. I usually clean the grates and the bottom insert but that is all. I have never cleaned the inside walls as it seems to be still in excellent condition.

Hard pass unless you like carbonized food
Loved this initially. Now the light no longer works and it overheats like crazy! I have to turn it down by 100 degrees on the bake setting or it burns everything. This is less than 3 years old.

Breaks after warranty period
This is a great product when it works. Unfortunately, shortly after warranty the thermocouple is failing and no replacement parts are available. The oven heats dangerously hot and never turns off the heating elements. Food is burnt to a crisp or literally on fire. Unit is being sold right here on the manufacturer's website but they claim it's discontinued and no parts are available. What a trash company.

can't replace broken parts, they aren't available
This has been a great toaster oven but the thermostat died and even though the toaster oven is still for sale, there are no parts available for it.

We decided to replace that one with a new one just because of the original one was starting to show its age internally. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cuisinart Chef's Convection Oven was a good buy. I am just learning about and using all the features, but so far I am very pleased. The only thing I was disappointed about is that I cannot fit my 9X13 dishes in the oven because of their handles. I was thinking the oven's width would allow for it since I received a 9X13 pan with the oven. It doesn't have handles, so it works fine. I like the speed convection setting which allows food to cook faster than normal. I'm sure I will enjoy the other features once I use them.

First Convection Experience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oven is sized just right and has many heating features with easy instructions. The turn dial responds easily to the touch. My first attempts turning on the convection fan resulted in a loud propeller type noise that sounds like it needs to keep running to smooth out. I’ve only toasted bread so far but look forward to try other cooking features.

Cuisinart Chef's Convection/Toaster Oven
I have had several of these, and love them. I use this as my primary oven much of the time, and appreciate the large size. The temps are consistent and I don't have problems with uneven heating or 'hot spots'. I do wrap the crumb tray in foil, to make it easy to clean.

Bought based on CNN recommendation and, indeed, it actually works. So far used in bake mode at 400 degrees (set at 375). Unlike other countertop ovens this one heats above 350.
