  • A: Even though this is a chemical sunscreen, there is silica in it. Skincare with silica in it can sometimes leave a white cast on dark skin.

    No breakouts !

    I have been using the Cetaphil daily facial moisturizer oil free with SPF 35 and love it. It does have a sticky texture so it absorbs slower on my face, but it doesn’t give me pimples and keeps my face hydrated and protected so that’s a win! The pump could definitely be improved.

    Been using for 10 years

    I have been using this for almost 10 years now and I have no plans to stop. It makes my skin so hydrated and glowy while protecting. I am one who like a simple skin care routine and this is the perfect product. My one “issue” is that I have to cut the packaging open when it is low as the pump can no longer reach the bottom.

    Cetaphill moisturizer with 35spf feels lightweight with a smooth texture that spreads easly.As combo skin it doesn’t feel greasy until later in day.I haven’t experienced irritation since my skin can react on first couple use.I like that it doesn’t leave noticeable white cast.Coverage is very minimal

    I have very sensitive skin and have been using this daily for years and it never fails me. Very moisturizing but not greasy, I can apply makeup afterwards and have no issues. I’ve tried more expensive facial moisturizers with SPF and keep coming back to this one.

    Great but can't use the pump.

    I've been using this on my face for years and I love it. I just hate that it's so thick that you can't actually use the pump to pump it out. I literally have to scoop it out to use it.

    Good Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin

    This moisturizer is my son's favorite. We keep a bottle in the house and one in the car. My son has very sensitive skin so he have to be careful what he uses on his skin. This moisturizer keeps his skin hydrated without the oily residue. He is coming out of a puberty, so we have to be careful with the excessive oils. He has not had any breakoutd and his skin is always looking hydrated and moisturized. The SPF is an added bonus for his melanin skin.

    This is a good moisturizer for the price point! It does leave my skin feeling hydrated. I find myself needing to reapply, but overall this is a great moisturizer that doesn’t break me out or clog pores!

    Too thick. What has changed?

    I have used this moisturizer for years and have been happy with it. However, this new container contains cream that is so thick that the pump mechanism will not pump anything up. I've been using the inner tube as an applicator but I don't think that's very hygienic! I usually choose Cetaphil products but this one is discouraging.

    A daily must

    I love the daily facial moisturizer a bonus is that it has SPF in it. The absorption is great. The value of Reiss can be beat and the packaging is super easy to use. It never gets clogged. I love love love my daily moisturizer. I use the night as well 100% recommend a my dermatologist does as well. It looks great under my foundation and I am very pleased and have been using this for a long time.

    Buy it if you want amazing absorption

    I love Cetaphil due to its clean ingredients, the consistency is good and it absorbs well into my skin. I’ve been making it a point to use sunscreen everyday and I love that this one already has some sunscreen in it

    Something must be wrong with bottle I bought. Unable to use pump as texture is thick, and even trying to take cap off it was difficult to get some out of bottle. When I finally did, too thick to smooth evenly over face. Was more like a cream and should have been packaged in a jar. Will absolutely not buy again!

    Great SPF Moisturizer

    Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 35 is my favorite daytime moisturizer. I have sensitive, oily and acne prone skin. I’ve been using this moisturizer for so many years. Don’t let the size of the product fool you, a little bit goes a long way. This moisturizer doesn’t irritate or cause my skin to break out. It’s not greasy. It absorbs nicely into my skin. I’ve never experienced any pilling from this moisturizer. I love the extra protection from the sun built right into my moisturizer. My foundation lays perfectly over the moisturizer. I normally wait about 20 minutes after applying the moisturizer to apply my foundation.
