Handle and whistling cap melted upon boiling water 3 months into use, toxic plastic smell - used 1-2 times a week so very lightly used. Beware: 30 day warranty and return window.

DO NOT BUY

I would NEVER recommend this item! I went to boil water Christmas morning and the handle broke and I almost poured boiling water all over myself. That was the worst part. But also a piece of the kettle melted right away and stopped whistling and didn’t close properly. I am very Disappointed and disgusted with what could have happened to me. Very thankful I wasn’t burned.
