    Cool For Casseroles!

    Lovely ceramic wear. Four stars because it is very heavy and could be cumbersome to handle and wash. Weight is almost 10 lb. The lid off would reduce the weight a lot but the food in it would add to weight again. Again its very nice and if you don't mind the heavy lift go for it! Mine is a gift so hopefully it all works out when presented.

    Pretty but auper heavy!

    Love the look but holy moly is it heavy! I bought it for lasagna and that added weight makes it almost impossible to get out of the oven. It did chip on the edge after just one use but I expected that to happen at some point as painted enamel does.

    So heavy

    Extremely Heavy. This is a beautiful dish but it’s so heavy by itself. When you add feed to it, it’s almost impossible for me to move. I have to ask my husband. I carry a toddler around all day and this actually is heavier when there is food in it (ie, baked beans).

    Quality not as expected

    It’s a beautiful dish and cooks well but it chips very easily. I have 2 of these and one braiser and they are all chipped already. One chipped before I got home from store. I hand wash them really carefully and store them making sure nothing touches it but it still manages to get chipped. Really disappointing.

    This bakeware provides excellent distribution of heat. It has become my favorite bakeware for meats, vegetables, dressing, and casseroles. The only down side is the white part chips fairly easily and it's heavy.

    RUSTED on the 1st Use

    Beautiful design, BUT IT RUSTS and it’s really heavy. The cast iron edges are not coated so anytime there’s steam from cooking, and I lift the heavy lid, the steam water drips down the side of the uncoated cast iron. Yes you can wipe it down right away but in the middle of cooking a big meal with several dishes, who has time for that? It’s a beautiful but lazy-trying-to-save-on-production-costs design.
